I've been using Wasabi Power products for years (since the Hero 2 came out!) and have learned I can count on them for quality. These batteries that are compatible with the Sony A7IV are no exception. While they don't last exactly as long as the manufacturer brand does, they come pretty close at around 92% of the original's runtime. At this price point I feel like that is a very good bargain. The dual charger included is very helpful after a long day of shooting when i've drained all my batteries and need them back in action the next day. I highly recommend adding these to your kit instead of spending twice as much for half as many batteries. ... show more

good buy…I have a bunch. The Sony batteries are better but just too expensive if you need 6 or 7.

    • Batteries are good for backups
The batteries are only good for backup…. Charge only last about 65% of what a factory battery does. Charging time is quick but it would be a good Idea to have a few of them on hand for all day shoots.

Very happy with the product! Can't tell the difference with the original battery. The charger is of solid build, not cheap flimsy material. The only downside is charging time is quite long - at least 5 hours!

    • I bought these batteries/charger because I read a good review. I'm not quite as pleased.
I watch a fair number of YouTube videos for reviews of gear and gadgets. I watched one that was about which "non-OEM" batteries were the best for my Sony alpha cameras--since the Sony ones are always the most expensive. The review said Wasabi had the longest battery life. So, I went out and bought these. My experience with the batteries has been okay--they seem to last about as long as any other new Z100-type battery I've purchased, but it's the included charger that is really giving me fits. For some reason, it's quite inconsistent about when and IF it wants to charge the batteries when they are attached. Unlike every other after market battery/charger combo I've purchased, this charger is kind of fickle about its charging duties. Sometimes, instead of fully charging a battery, it'll partially charge it, then the lights on the charger will start to flash. (Normally, on every other charger, the battery is red when it's charging and green when it's done. This one just starts flashing...for who knows what reason. When I buy stuff, I just want it to work. This one was kind of a mixed blessing...but mostly a bust. When you can't rely on a battery to charge on its own charger, it doesn't matter if some reviewer said it had the greatest battery life. ... show more

Even though they advertise slightly less capacity than the Sony battery that came with my camera, If find I get noticeably better performance out of these two Wasabi batteries. I am very happy with my purchase and love the charger.
