I read the reviews that said to buy a bigger size. I like my coats big and the sleeves long so I ordered a size up. It fits but if I wanted to put a sweater under it I couldn’t because the arms are too snug. It’s a heavy thick coat and it’s warm so I would recommend this.     • Very warm but heavy and wrinkled, pocket tore

This jacket is a lot warmer than I expected it to be, probably a little warmer than I needed considering it has not been that cold in Virginia yet this season. It is also very heavy. The weight surprised me. I really like the additional cuff that fits well over gloves and keeps my arms completely covered and warm. Overall I like it and will keep it but it isn't quite what I was looking for. I was looking for something a little dressier but this will do for everyday wear. 1) It did come very wrinkled but I was able to steam iron most of the wrinkles out. 2) It is a little snug across the shoulder and upper arms. Ok if I'm just walking around but makes driving uncomfortable. There isn't a lot of room for layering. 3) I ordered the black and the material is a faded black so the jacket already looks old. I guess it's the material but I wasn't expecting it to look so used and faded. 4) The pockets are aligned straight up/down or across making it almost impossible to put my hands in the pockets for additional warmth. I like walking with my hands in my pockets and can't do that with this jacket. It does have a lot of pockets. 12/29/21 - I had barely submitted this review when I realized the right pocket on the jacket had torn already which is very disappointing considering I had only used it about 6 times when I saw the torn pocket. If you are a curvy woman you might want to look closely at measurements for fitting. It's not designed for curves. That being said me and my curves are keeping this coat. My streets don't have many lights and I walk my dog at night so needed a light colored winter coat. I can push it down over the hips just not comfortable. After reading some of the reviews was a little hesitant to order but i did and it is a nice coat very warm and comfortable. love all the pockets and the fur wish fur was in the arms as well but probably would be to bulky at that point , but all in all very happy with coat.

I needed a new coat that was longer. I was tired of my other coat riding up my back. This coat is long. It hits me at my upper thighs. I'm 5'7" with long legs. It keeps my bum warm. The sleeves are long enough for me. And I like the sherpa lined inside. Keeps me warm while I'm out feeding farm animals. I ordered the xl because I layer and like room to move. Downsides. It is not flattering at all. It has no feminine shape whatsoever. I felt like a blob in it (until I didn't care because I was warm). Also the hood is awful. It's so small and shallow. I wish that was a change they would change on the coat. All in all I like the coat. It keeps me warm and that's what is important. ... show more
