I'm a bigger gal, and I have a hard enough time finding coats that fit right in stores. I didn't have very high expectations of an off brand, Chinese manufactured coat--I expected the Chinese-sized 2XL to fit more like an American Large. I was very surprised that not only was the coat true to size (fit bust, tummy and waist without issue), but it appears to be a very well made, well-thought out garment. The pros and cons from my perspective: Pros: *Flattering fit (even for a curvy gal) with a waist cinch *Full torso coverage down to the hips *EXTREMELY warm! (Only tested in 20° weather so far, but I was plenty toasty) *Water-resistant/proof outer material (I assume. It wasn't raining, so I couldn't actually test how effective it was) *Deep, cloth-lined, zippered front pockets plus bonus inside pockets *Plenty of extras like an inside elastic band and additional drawstring to protect from drafts, a warm fuzzy liner for the torso and intentially uneven sleeves to give you full hand coverage on the pinky side of your hand, but shorter on the thumb side for better mobility. Cons: *It's VERY warm, which normally wouldn't be a con, but I was in a store for 5 minutes and had to remove it because I was sweating. Additionally, the arms aren't lined, so the sweat just beaded on my arms under the water-resistant material. It was pretty uncomfortable. *The hood is HUGE. I have to turn my whole body to see around it. It's still cute, though *The wrist snaps come undone relatively easily, but it's really only a minor inconvenience. Overall, a high quality, well-made product that I would happily recommend!

I spent big bucks on a Canadian brand coat that doesn’t compare to this one. It’s so warm and comfortable. I normally wear an XL in all clothes and this fit perfectly. The “fur” leaves a lot to be desired but thankfully it can be taken off. I rarely leave reviews but had to on this purchase. Going skiing is not breaking the bank like it used to.

This coat is so cozy and warm, I love it! Totally water repellent too, as I found out. Stayed dry after several hours in the wind and rain. Love the pockets too! Nice and deep with plenty of room. Highly recommend it!

I want to love the jacket but I only like it. The jacket is lightweight but warm enough to keep me comfortable in 30 something degree weather. I like all of the little toggles and pockets. Unfortunately I have two gripes that prevent me from giving this jacket a five-star score. Number one, it is a much darker blue than the advertisement or the previous reviews show on the app. In the photo I attached, you can see that it looks like a super dark navy blue that could almost pass for black depending on the lighting. In the ad it looks more like a dark teal which would have matched perfectly with my hat and was the main reason I got the coat in the first place. Secondly, the jacket is snug at the hip. I got the medium based on my waist and bust measurements. I am a hippy person with a 45-in measurement. I can zip up the jacket around my butt but it is a little snug. If I had the time to spare, I would send the coat back and try to get a different, more fun color, but I need the coat for an outdoor event within 36 hours.

First, we got this jacket for our 13 yr old kid. It fit well except the stitching broke on the arm the first week. We returned the jacket for a replacement, which was easy. The replacement jacket that came fits differently and the hood is enormous and therefore unusable. We live in the PNW so a waterproof and warm winter jacket is necessary and this jacket is just not going to cut it. We are barely dipping into the freezing temps right now and my kid is already complaining about being cold. I wish I had just bought another Columbia jacket. This one is a lightweight.
