When I put this coat on I was so surprised at how warm it is. It is very lightweight. And at first, it seemed really thin, so I was afraid it wouldn't be warm enough. But it is quite toasty! It's just the start of winter here in northern Ohio, but we've already seen temperatures down in the teens. And I wore this coat outside in that cold blustery weather with only a turtleneck top on underneath, and I was plenty warm! The outer fabric is thick and tough, like a good cotton duck. So I am not anxious about it ripping when I am outside shoveling or doing yard work. I highly recommend this parka. I am a 60 year old woman. 5'1". 150 lbs.....so a bit rounded out. I bought the XL size even though the site recommended I get a large. XL is just right, it leaves me room to move around, and when temps drop even more I'll be able to wear a sweater in there too.

This is a good looking, very warm coat! Sleeves are long, and the coat fits just right. My only complaint is that when I removed it from the bag that it comes in, it had 2-3 very long hairs from a blond person. And, I had to remove about 30 or so white animal hairs. Someone had clearly tried this coat on and returned it. I love it, and I'm keeping it. But, I was somewhat grossed out by having to clean people and pet hairs off of it before being able to use my "new" coat.

I bought this coat for my daughter who was taking a school trip to the East Coast where the weather is colder than where we live. We were looking for a coat that also had a functional connected hood. This was a last-minute purchase so I was really worried about the outcome. The coat fit beautifully. She was very pleased with the fit. She told me it kept her very warm. Although we live in a warmer climate for much of the year, she is looking forward to the days she can wear it to school.

Received quickly, I got the burgandy color, it’s a great color, but just inside the zipper, the white is discolored pink on both sides. Seems very warm, but seems cheap with the discoloration. I would not have bought in store had I seen it prior to purchase.
