We flew home to NYC on a week long trip. The first few days we stayed in a one bedroom (little apartment) in Manhattan and because I ... snore pretty loudly, I had to quarantine myself in the living room, away from the family. The pullout couch was impossible to sleep on, so in a moment of pure genius (and foreseen agony), I ordered this wonderful inflatable pad. It showed up one hour before we headed out to the airport. Well, let me tell ya' ... It saved my ... back. I slept like a little baby on it and I loved it. This thing is so light, so easy to deploy that when I actually used it the first night, I simply could not believe it! I was convinced it wouldn't stay inflated until the following morning. I was totally wrong. I'm actually a pretty big fella' and this thing was nice and plump in the morning with maybe, 3% of the air escaping over a whole night of turning (I sleep on my side). The design is the genius of it. The channels and surface ridges make you feel your floating on air. Not one single pressure point! And the attached pillow is at an angle that is perfect by itself or putting another pillow on top of it (it has a depression area for the head that keeps the neck at a perfect angle). It takes literally less than 40 seconds to inflate it and less than 15 to deflate it and store it away. It fits in a small size backpack, at the bottom with a lot of room to spare left! It's light and a perfect companion for traveling. I love it! ... show more

So I went on a 10 day camping trip for a college class when I had only ever camped maybe 2 nights at a time before this. I had always used an air mattress to do this, but because we were going to be so remote, I was horribly worried about the logistics of inflating it. My aunts showed me a version of this like 20x more expensive, lol, so I did my own searching and found this product. Let me just say that I have NEVER in my life used a product that comes in a bag and been able to fit it back into said bag with any amount of ease (or at all, sometimes) before this. I’m still blown away by it. But first: you unroll the whole thing and make sure the plug in the back of the pillow is closed, then open the plug in the foot pad. Because my tent was so short, I found it much easier to just use my hand to pump it, sort of cupping it so the plug isn’t completely covered. Sounds semi complicated but I promise that filling this up is incredibly easy and quick- seems to take more than the 100 pumps I think it claims but these are pretty much effortless to do. Close the foot plug when it’s filled- if you pinch the sides it’s deceivingly squishy, but trust me, when you’re laying on it, it doesn’t squish down like that. I’m 5’2 so I may be biased, but this thing is long!! I read a complaint about it being too short but that was definitely not my experience- it barely fit in my tent lol, which was small, but still. I read complaints about the pillow, but if you’re camping for as long as I was, you don’t want a fabric pillow. The fact that it was built in was amazing. I just covered it with a hoodie of mine and slept amazing on this thing (with a yoga mat type of insulator cover underneath it). The sleeping bag slid around on its plastic-y surface a bit which is possibly my only complaint! I bet a blanket underneath that would have solved it. Seriously, I was completely comfortable for 10 days on this thing. It never deflated except for ONE night where the temperature dipped quite a bit, then it’s like 20 pumps to get it right back to where it was. It’s stupid easy to use continually. Ok- now my favorite part!!!!! Deflating it and storing it!! When you unplug the one behind the pillow, 80% of the air poofs out all on its own instantly!! Then I folded both sides into the middle and started rolling- at first, when I tested this in my living room, I did this painstakingly- can you imagine my surprise when there was ample room in the bag for it??? You seriously don’t have to pay much attention when rolling this back up because it fits, with a bit of extra space even, back into the bag. Incredible. FYI I learned not to roll a sleeping bag (like 6 nights in unfortunately) but to just to stuff that mf straight into its bag- seems weird but it contorts to the space around it and is MUCH easier than wrestling it. Every air mattress I’ve ever used had to be reinflated every night to keep it firm, and I’ve had more than one spring a leak and refuse to stay inflated, during significantly shorter outings, leaving me sleeping on the ground, and they’re super loud when you move. This was SO easy to fill, use, and pack!!! It was surprisingly comfortable despite seeming sort of thin, I personally loved the built in pillow, and it was very durable! It’s in perfect shape after using it for 10 consecutive days and I’ll never use an air mattress for camping again because of it! I honestly cannot rave about this enough. I’m SO impressed by it! I did use a pad underneath it but I did it mostly for warmth as I was in the high desert where it gets like 35° at night. Plus it came with patches in case it did spring a leak! Best $40ish you’ll ever spend on a camping accessory, I promise. And it’s incredibly light weight once packed away, if you’re backpacking. ... show more

This mattress was overall not as bad as I expected it to be. It was extremely easy to inflate. It’s budget friendly and it’s a good sized mattress and does not run out of air. I slept a whole night with this mattress, and it did not inflate or Pop. The only con that I have with this mattress is that the air pillow is not so comfortable so when you buy this mattress, I recommend just putting a soft pillow on the pillow side. also, this mattress is very easy to carry around anywhere you want comes in the bag for easy transportation. ... show more

I bought some camping supplies for me and my daughter. I wanted to get her outside more this summer and we talked about camping and she was super excited about that so I bought a tent and other supplies like this sleeping pad. I was skeptical at first, I thought anything over 20 bucks is a waste for something to just pop. When I got it I inflated it and checked it out and I changed my mind. The next night I set up our tent and got the sleeping pad ready for use. It’s very light (maybe not for backpacking) but for camping it’s great, inflating it is easy and quick. I couldn’t stand up inside the tent so I used my hand instead of foot and that worked to. As far as sleeping on it, it almost didn’t even feel like I was sleeping on an inflatable pad, it was very comfortable and held air all night. As far as the pillow, I like to have extra so I bought an extra outdoor pillow from the dollar general. I don’t think there’s anything I dislike about this product, I absolutely love it and it’s going on every trip with me. A little more info, (because what works for me might not work for someone else) I’m 5 ft 11 and 150lbs and i fit perfectly on it. I also toss and turn a lot so I was worried that might cause wear and tear or to loose air but it didn’t. So my very first use I give it a 5 star and I’m also very confident this will be a very good addition to my very many camping adventures I have planned this season ... show more

Firstly, after having used it on 4 backpacking trips last summer, I can say the pad is a really good value. In my experience, it took a LOT more than "20s" to inflate it. I think I counted around 90-ish once. Not a huge deal, and still relatively easy to inflate. Also, I'd say it's a fairly comfortable pad to sleep on. No real issues there that I can recall. Also, fairly surprised at the relative light weight based on the price point. I'd really like to know a legitimate R-value for this pad. If I'm guessing, I'd probably put it in the 2-3 range. Searched the Q&A function and someone said "10." I actually LOLed. Summary...if you're just doing some summer or late spring/early fall overnight backpacking trips, this is a great pad. If I were going on some extended trips earlier or later in the shoulder seasons, I'd recommend going with something a little lighter and with a higher R-value. ... show more

I’ve had this pad for a couple of years and have used it 3 times (not a big camper). I wanted to write a review as I have felt like this pad holds up well, stays inflated well, and is really convenient as other reviews have mentioned- it rolls up really well back into its holder. My deduction of a star comes from being someone who is used to sleeping on a comfy bed- I am a side sleeper and unfortunately do NOT feel like this is the right pad for that. My hips are bruised after one night. I knew this would happen while I was tossing and turning, but it’s just part of the experience I feel however I have heard there are better pads for side sleepers so I will be seeking that out if I do go again (this pad will be retired after roughly 4 uses 😂). Anyways, this is good value for the money and does what it needs to, just if you are a side sleeper I do recommend not using this one. Easy to inflate and deflate as well. ... show more
