Never have I owned a bed with a box type frame at the bottom. This could be from my poor upbringing, who knows. This is really my only knock on the bed frame. The drawers are super nice for storage as the bed we had was previously lifted a foot off the ground for storage. I would recommend keeping storage to things you don't need every day. While it is nice to have the drawers, it's not something I would want to deal with every day when I wake up in the morning (if I had to get clothes out of it). This was for a guest room, so it is used to store spare sheets and random stuff that was under tho old bed. Would be nicer if the drawers were on rails, but I'm fine with this in the guest bedroom. I knew they weren't on rails when I purchased. Assembly was rather straightforward, have to give an A+ here because this was the first time I've ever put something like this together without accidentally attaching something to a wrong piece or backwards. No joke though, the box is heavy. I'm a big guy and I had a hard time getting this into the house and up stairs by myself. I found this frame to be affordable especially since we're adding an aesthetic look to the room, opposed to a basic metal frame. Everyone in the house agrees it looks very nice. I guess part of making it affordable is the wood slats. I told myself years ago I wouldn't buy another frame with wood slats but it is rated for a high weight and they do seem sturdy, they are really half slats with support down the middle. Would be nice to have metal slats though, can't imagine it is much more expensive as you can get an all metal frame for pretty cheap on Amazon. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a frame in a guest room or if you use the drawers for long-term storage. I was never going to put shirts and pants in the drawers as shown in the advertising pictures, but I could see someone finding them frustrating for every-day use. They could improve this design by using strong magnets to hold the drawer so it doesn't have to be lift-locked to close it.

This bed seems sturdy. We upgraded our littles bed since we keep having visitors who take over their room and this bed had drawers under so we picked it. It came damaged. (I didn't bother trying to get it replaced as someone put it together for me while I was at work and disassembled the other bed so it was needed) The bed also came with a few replacement pieces. Which was really helpful. I was told it went together easily. My biggest complaint is the drawers. Magnets would of been a better choice. Instead you have a kinda hook and eye situation. You have to lift the drawer and push to one side to line up with the hole. The material is almost like a suede in softness. And it looks good in person. For the price I paid I was expecting a little better but it works.

I bought this bed for my daughter for Christmas. She has a lot of clothes and has a limited amount of closet space. The drawers are genius and these looked quite large. It was marked down and I felt that it would be a beautiful addition to her room. It is gorgeous. The material is not a fabric texture but more of a soft leather feel to it. The drawers are much larger than anticipated and stores a lot of clothes. Instructions were simple and once we got the hang of it, it was easy to put together. I would definetly recommend.

I really enjoy this bed. I purchased it in queen size for my cabin where extra storage is always needed. The bed was pretty simple to assemble, luckily I had the help of my husband which made the job go much faster. We assembled it in about an hour. The only negative is that it’s not super easy to get the drawers to latch into place. This isn’t a huge issue for us because we are storing things in the drawers that we use infrequently. If you will be using the storage drawers for daily storage it will drive you crazy trying to get them back in place.
