I have never gotten as irrationally mad as I did installing the little washers to the screw holes. When installing the arms, they kept moving and blocking the bolt from being inserted. I fixed this by putting all washers on, then taking the bolt and nut, and tightening them all. I left for 5 minutes to seal the glue to the proper spot, then installing the arms was simple. I do with they'd stay up when I fold them, but Installing these into center of studs, they're sturdy enough I could do pull ups, and I'm considerably heavier than the weight limit stated. I feel safe storing my reclaimed wood here. Once major thing I would change is how about a pilot hole suggestion in the instructions. Premark and drill... okay, but you left out the size of the drill bit suggested to use. It's a no brainer for an average woodworker or craftsman, but for a normal Joe throwing this up in their garage, they might not understand, and tear up their wall trying to brute force in the lag bolts ... show more

As others have suggested, do not use the included wall screws as they are not long enough to securely screw the brackets into studs. I bought 3 1/2” or 4” carriage bolts and added washers to secure to the studs. The instructions provided are kind of a joke. Pretty typical for China-made products. For example, how and where you put the plastic self-stick spacer washers was simply a diagram, with no additional verbiage to adequately explain where, how, why they needed to be installed. I just had to figure it out through trial and error. Speaking of error! The plastic, self-stick spacer washers are a joke! You are supposed to stick one on each side of the wall-mounted tubes. For my application, this was a total of 24 spacers and the process was pretty tedious and long positioning each one of these. Then the horizontal brackets are supposed to fit over both spacer washers, and then you slide your screw through the side hole, through both spacers. Good luck! The brackets are too tight to fit over the spacers. The self-stick spacers simply slide away because everything is too tight! So tedious and frustrating! In the end, I simply used just one spacer on one side as there was no way possible that 2 spacers would accept the bracket. Even just using just one spacer washer was very tight, and the spacer would slide out of position every time I tried to position the bracket and align with the screw holes! After about and hour plus, I got all the brackets screwed together. Just poor engineering! The final results are fine and the supports are sturdy. In hindsight, I think I would have opted for supports that were already assembled and just needed to be wall-mounted like the Bora system. I opted for these because I just wanted a 3-tier system, double wide vs a 5 or 6-tier system. ... show more

To get two sets for less than $60 shipped is an easy buy. I don't know how will it will hold up, but it was relatively easy to put together. Instructions were not great, but readable and no glaring errors or bad translations. My only concern is that according to the manufacturer each set of 2 has a capacity of 330lbs. All of the weight rests on the through bolts that they provide. So here's hoping that the shear capacity of those bolts is at least good for 330lbs, because the rough cut lumber I buy can be heavy. I'm giving it 5-stars. Should something break, I'll update. Honestly though, I'm probably going to buy another set to widen the rack I just put up this morning. ... show more
