UPDATE: We've been using this for just over a year and it's held up extremely well. Ours is mounted where it is exposed to the elements. We've had no issues with wind or the Wisconsin weather causing issues. It holds strong in high winds. I Highly recommend this mount. This works well with our Arlo Pro 2 camera. Because our home has a stone front, the camera must be mounted hanging from the soffit. We needed to mount the camera lower to clear the security that is light already there. This worked perfectly. He haven't had any winds over 11 mph according to the weather men, but it hasn't shook at all in the wind yet. We were able to use the original outdoor power cord with this mount because it includes a metal extender piece that screws into the mounting hole on the camera to extend it out. We couldn't use an off brand power cord because it didn't include the extender. ... show more

This was a good solution for mounting Arlo Solar Panels on the east and north sides of the house to reach up and over the roof tiles for optimum southerly exposure. Installation was easy and the elbows make positioning the panels a snap. My only concern is that the base of the mounts is not secure. I can rotate the base with my hands even when it is tightened. I’ll let you know if the panels remain secure in the monsoon winds. Meanwhile, this mount seems to be superior in quality and function when compared to the Arlo mount. ... show more

We've been waiting to mount our Blink Mini. I bought one arm that was too short to get the angle needed. I saw this one and thought it would work. It was perfect! The arm is long enough and adjustable enough to get the camera in the perfect position. Laid it down, went to get a pencil and a screwdriver to mount it. Picked it back up to make a few adjustments and all of a sudden the screw in the middle section won't tighten! It just flopped in my hand and won't tighten like it's stripped. We tried several times and it will not tighten again. So disappointed! We didn't even get to install it! I don't know if we should return it for another one or not! I'm giving it 2 stars because I'm sure it's a great product if you don't receive a defective one. I'm sad. ... show more

Exactly what I was expecting! It's a bit thinner than I would hope for the price but I'm not disappointed because it works just as I want it to. I'm considering buying a second one for another camera that I have because the better angle that I can get from this mount gives me way better view.

I bought two different articulating extension arms for exterior use with Blink cameras. This item is perfect for moving the camera away from the wall to gain a better view. The second item was made of plastic. And although it worked as well, it just didn't have the quality and I doubt it will last like this one which is metal. ... show more

    • Broke the mounting plate
The mounting screw stripped the Arlo face plate mounting screw. Took 2 months to revive a replace my from Arlo. Do not recommend unless you plan to not ever remove your camera from this mount.

I recommend spraying a poly coat or something on it if you’re going to mount it outside to prevent rusting. I highly recommend this product. I will most likely be purchasing additional ones.
