I'm so happy with this purchase. I wanted to increase my fitness level the lazy way, but I don't feel comfortable walking alone in my neighborhood. Enter this treadmill. I originally wanted to use it at my desk while I did work, but after a couple of falls, I decided that I'm not coordinated enough to work and walk on the treadmill at once (more of a personal issue than an issue with this product). I am also short on space, and I specifically wanted a treadmill that folds. I've had this for about a week and have used it every day since (I'll make sure to update this review if there are any further changes). Since I'm not coordinated enough to multitask, I now park the treadmill in front of the TV and that literally has kept me occupied for a couple of hours at a time. The setup is relatively easy and it comes with instructions. It does say that the device needs to be "unlocked" when you first get it, which either means you walk 1 km on it or you download their app. I chose the former and it works fine. If you don't "unlock," you can't go past 2.9 km/hr on the treadmill. The treadmill also comes with a remote -- DO NOT LOSE THE REMOTE OR ELSE IT WILL NOT WORK. The remote comes with a wrist strap and you can start/stop the treadmill and change the speed -- pretty self explanatory. I still store the treadmill under my desk and while it's easy to move on flat surfaces due to the front wheels, I found it to be quite heavy taking it up the stairs in my home. The product description lists this treadmill at 55 lbs, so I guess I just don't have any upper body strength, but keep the weight in mind if you're planning on moving this device from room to room. It folds for easy storage and fits well under my desk. I have heard of people complaining of the belt shredding on similar treadmills, but the instructions do say to center the belt prior to starting the treadmill (open the treadmill and adjust the belt from side to side until it is centered). The noise isn't completely silent, but I feel that I only have to increase the volume of my TV 1-2 levels while using it, so I don't think it's that loud to me. I also only use this product for walking, so running will most likely cause more noise. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it for someone looking to increase their steps or exercise at their desk (if you're coordinated enough). 3 MONTH UPDATE: The belt slides a little more easily to the sides than when I first got the treadmill, but it's easy to readjust and I have not had any shredding along the sides. I have also noticed some small bubbles forming on the treadmill within a plastic layer underneath the belt, but I have not otherwise noticed a change in performance. Overall, I'm still happy with it and am pleased that it has kept up over the last three months. ... show more

TLDR (Too Long, Didn’t Read): When I first received the C1 Walking Pad (December 2023), I was super excited. This was meant to help supplement my workout routine and get me more active during work hours. During the first two months, I used the machine about 3-4 days per week. The issues didn’t start becoming a problem until the third month mark where usage started to dwindle because of the issues the machine started having. I would have preferred to go with a cheaper option had I known that this more expensive nicer looking option would only last a few months before needing to be replaced. The “features” that this product has are not worth it. The “automatic mode” does absolutely nothing and does not work. Pretty disappointed with this purchase. The Great: • The treadmill motor is actually relatively quiet which I did enjoy • The aesthetic is great - The sleek white with rounded edges is pretty difficult to find for an under desk treadmill • The luxury of being able to fold it and store it under the bed or sofa is nice. The folding length is a little less than 33” • Seeing the steps, session time, and distance on the small screen was very cool. The Bad: • It’s quite heavy! I weight lift and even for me, it’s a bear to move. The small wheels don’t help much either. If there had been a handle somewhere to help move it around, maybe that would have made it easier. • The belt needs re-adjusting every time you use and even then I had trouble keeping the belt centered as I was walking on it. It would always shift to the right which caused the belt to fray on one side. • The walking pad would make weird clunking noises in the middle where it folds and after inspecting it, I could not find the source or reason for the clunking noise. I weigh 170lbs, no where near the weight limit. All screws were tight and nothing “appeared” to be the cause of the noise. • No option or easy way to replace the belt is problematic. The fact that a belt would need to be replaced this early in the machine’s life is frustrating to me. This company does not offer replacement belts to purchase. • The remote truly only works half the time. I have found that even when the machine is off, somehow the remote will still drain battery. In the 4 months that I have had this machine, I have gone through 3 batteries. • The “Automatic” mode does absolutely nothing. I could never get it to work from Day 1. • The app was too cumbersome to navigate and figure out. Save you phone from junk “food” and download something nice instead. • There were many times where the walking pad would just stop in the middle or very beginning of my session where I had to toggle between the automatic and manual mode just to get it working again. I don’t remember if it reset my progress for that session or not, I always tracked on my smart watch as well so I didn’t pay attention but something to be mindful of. Overall: Please save your money and avoid this product. The Walking Pad C1 is very pretty. Unfortunately, that’s only half the reason why you would want to buy a product. The functionality of this product lasted a very short amount of time than I was expecting it to and that’s with light-light/moderate use. I usually go for aesthetics over function, but in this case, that was VERY clearly the wrong choice. ... show more
