  • Garbage. Don't wast your money.
conplete garbage. This mid pipe is not even good enough to be called garbage because I honestly feel you could find a better mid pipe in the garbage. When I first had this setup installed. It was installed with a walker quiet flow ss muffler. So after the catalytic converter, it was all walker exhaust. First the resonator went bad. After about 3 months it began to develope a rattle that got worse with time. I had the resonator replaced with a quality one. Then 2 months later the muffler began to develope a rattle at higher rpm. After taking it to the muffler shop they told me that both had begun to fall apart from the inside. Welds broke and baffles became loose. What a complete waste of my hard earned money. They claim to be better than OEM?! Not a chance!! My 12 year old muffler still works just fine. My 12 year old resonator works just fine along with all flanges and piping. All my walker pipes and equipment were severely rusted even tho I live in California, far away from the ocean and nowhere near the snow. Keep in mind the walker equipment was only installed on the car for 6 months at the longest. So completely disappointed and I feel completely cheat by this company. The product stays good just long enough to make it impossible to make any claim to its quality and get any reimbursement. 6 months. That's all I got. 6 MONTHS. Everything was professionally installed. And this stuff is NOT stainless steel. None of it. It's. Complete lie. False and deceptive advertising. Shame on walker. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. ... show more

  • Fit was excellent
Cut old resonator off just before the flair. Wire brushed the protruding piece from the catalytic converter to fit the flared end of this walker resonator. It slid on without issue. Spring bolted it to the muffler end with gasket in place, added a 2 1/4 clamp to the existing clamp at the catalytic converter end and this job was complete. Just a reminder you must have some machinal skills to be on your back in a garage to do this job. safety should always be employed at all times. don't take shortcuts. ... show more

  • they fit together like they should with the clamp
When you get this you'll need to get the walker cat as well, they fit together like they should with the clamp. Make sure to get new gasket rings and the mounting hardware (springs and bolts) for both sides. The problem you will run into is when trying to fit this assembly on a non Walker muffler. The holes don't line up and I had to slot the holes out to bolt it down to my OEM muffler. If you get a Walker muffler then it'll bolt up like it should. The other side bolts up to the headers fine. ... show more

  • Did my research but part wasn’t spec.
Not a direct fit as suggested. On the side that bolts to the muffler, the holes the bolts feed through aren’t out far enough to thread the bolts. Used one factory side and then had to drill an additional hole in the muffler junction to accommodate. This is on an 05 Camry with build date 09/04 so before 04/05. Also, FYI, part number 41948 which appears to be built to slide over the opposite end of this pipe as well as the end of the catalytic converter so two clamps can then squeeze down on both sides, is the exact same diameter as this resonator pipe so it doesn’t slide over. Rough start for a novice mechanic. ... show more

  • Fit - 2006 Corolla
Replaced the exhaust assembly on a 2006 Corolla. As others have noted, the bolt holes on the flange do not line up with the OEM muffler assembly I had to enlarge the holes slightly (Other than that it's a perfect fit). You will need to cut your exhaust assembly upstream of your resonator assembly in order to install. Along with the exhaust assembly I bought the Walker 35413 (2 1/4" clamp) and Walker 31533 (Exhaust Gasket) to complete the repair. Take some time to soak the exhaust bolts with WD-40 prior to starting this repair. I sprayed them down each morning for 2-days one of the bolts came right out but the second one was still seized. I ended up cutting the old pipe next to the flange and removing the muffler, with the muffler out I was able to remove the bolt by heating with a MAPP gas torch. Knocking out the old gasket was also easier with the muffler on the bench. Don't forget to clean up the threads prior to reassembly (on my Corolla thread pitch is M10-1.25) ... show more

  • Gets the job done.
I used this on my 2007 Toyota Corolla S. It gets the job done. The flange holes are not spaced the the same as the flange on the factory muffler but are close and I made it work with a little modification to the muffler flange. I highly recommend also ordering a new bolt kit and don't forget the gasket. ... show more

  • Issue
I ordered an entire exhaust system. It cam in three different sections. This came as the intermediate pipe, catalytic converter was another and the tailpipe was the third. Intermediate to tailpipe was missing the donut gasket, had stop everything and buy it from local stores. Catalytic converter did not fit or match the diameter of the intermediate pipe as it should have. Had stop a d buy an adapter pipe. Try to buy everything from one manufacturer so it fits and all parts come as one. ... show more

  • 2003 Vibe Exhaust
Used on 2003 Pontiac Vibe. Not sure which is wrong but this and the MagnaFlow 93200 converter were the same diameter. I expected the converter pipe would slip into the resonator pipe. Since the resonator is much cheaper and so I wouldn't void any warranty on the converter I ended up cutting a couple of inches off of the resonator and using a stainless steel 2 1/4 inch Norca band clamp to join the two. Rented a chain exhaust cutoff tool from O'Reilly and made the cut after every thing was in place. ... show more
