I LOVE this simple TV stand!! It’s perfect for our living room and is simple, sleek, well made and fits perfectly in our room. It’s the perfect height and super sturdy. Also, I love that all of the cords are hidden and out of sight. Others have complained about the holes in the back, but I actually bought this because of them. I wanted an easy clean way to get the cords in and keep them hidden in the back. Also, the sticker covers for the holes where the hardware is showing are super high quality and match the stand perfectly - you cannot tell they are stickers at all. It was relatively easy to build - I only needed another person at two steps toward the end. The instructions are super easy to follow and that made building it much easier. I absolutely LOVE this stand and I'm thrilled to have purchased it at such an amazing price! The stand arrived on time and expertly packaged with Prime shipping. Included in the packaging were easy to follow and clearly labeled instructions, all necessary parts, and even the tools needed for assembly! I am a woman with no knowledge or experience with assembling furniture so it took me about half an hour to get the assembly completed alone. After the unit was completely constructed I checked for flaws and defects and was stunned/impressed to find NONE! The material is good quality and the unit is very durable and sturdy! The stand is perfect for my 65inch smart tv, the perfect size for my bedroom, and looks way more expensive than what I paid! For the quality I recieved the price is a STEAL! I love the ample storage space within the unit and appreciate the built in cord holes for my electronics. This seller also offers one size bigger than this and since this purchase was so impressive, I'm ordering the larger size for my living room! This is a great buy! I was a little reluctant at first because people said the item came with missing pieces or damaged parts, but if that was the case then just return it. Amazon is great with returns. This item did come in several pieces and was quite heavy to bring inside. It was simple to put together just took a while. I'm pretty handy, but this shouldn't be hard for the not so handy people to put together. The instructions were clear and to the point. You do have to use the wood glue sparingly but I had literally just enough. I used about a small pea sized blob in each hole and had enough. Even though this is particle board material, it is VERY sturdy. It doesn't scratch easily like other reviews stated. The box was slightly damaged when it arrived, but every piece is covered in styofoam so there was no damage to the product. I did have to break out my own set of Allen wrenches because the one provided didn't fit into the screw very well. I didn't have a problem fitting my DVD/VHS (yeah I'm old school) into the shelving. I don't think it's very shallow like some of the other reviews said. Overall this is an awesome buy! Pros: Sturdy Great price Fairly easy assembly Looks great Adjustable shelves Doesn't seem to scratch easily Cons: Barely enough wood glue Comes in lots of pieces Allen wrench wasn't functional Would I recommend this to someone?     • Sturdy, looks, good, tedious to assemble
Went together easier than I expected based on the reviews, and looks good. For the price, I haven't seen anything that looks this nice. The box arrived via UPS and was pretty beat up, but all the parts were well packed and all the pieces were ok. A few minor scratches, but on non-front-facing pieces. There was no color stick as others noted is included. It took me about 2 1/2 hours and 2 beers to assemble it by myself--mostly just the tedious task of gluing and inserting the the various dowels, inserting the cam bolts, and comparing the assembly pics to the actual pieces; need to make sure the pieces lay just as pictured so you don't reverse the hardware that you insert. Piece 5 was missing the pre-drilled hole for its dowel, so I had to drag out a drill to add the hole. The shelves really need another set of pre-drilled holes to allow them to be higher or lower so larger audio components will fit inside better. The reviews recommending to have some extra wood glue for the dowels are right on--the small tube provided is enough for perhaps half of the dowels. The 4 pre-cut holes for cords are much too large, especially with a white wall behind the unit, but allow a lot of flexibility in placing audio video gear. I just glued some black construction paper cut to size on the backside of the 2 holes I don't need so they don't stand out so much. With the dark Espresso finish, it looks fine. I ended up with 2 extra each of the dowels, cam bolts, and cam locks. Maybe i missed a step, but I think they just provided extras. I had no issue with stripping hardware as some others had--found it better to turn the cam locks with a flat head screwdriver than a phillips. ... show more
