I’ve been wanting a faux fireplace for awhile now. Most of them are $$$ but when I saw the price for this one I had to buy it. Assembly was pretty easy. Looks great & seems sturdy. Only complaint is there is no remote for the fireplace.

The media could not be loaded. I have been looking at these for almost 9 months now. Every maker, every aspect of every single one of them that have been on amazon.com. This was one of the ones I had on my watchlist and when I got the notification that it was on sale from $435 to $213, I decided to make the leap and I am so glad that I did. First off, BRAVO on quality packaging for shipping. As soon as I realize that they had light wood as the side paneling to protect the item inside, I knew I was going to be pleased. This was protected so well that if it was chucked outside of a FedEx truck, going 95 miles an hour, nothing would’ve broke. Not a single dent, scratch or ding on the actual product itself. This is heavy duty, higher quality particle board. If you’re familiar with particleboard, you know that there’s the cheap kind that flakes easily then there is the higher quality one, and this is that product. Once I had this thing assembled, which took my daughter and I in 30 minutes, I knew I made the right choice. This is so well-made that a tornado could come through the house, and this would still remain standing. Directions were easy to understand and all parts were accounted for and even extras included. Illustrations were idiot proof as well. Fireplace is a 24” insert which works for me. Throws off the right amount of heat. I like that I can have the fireplace on with or without the heat which can be turned on separately with the switch. I wish this came with a remote control but for $213, I am not going to think twice about it. If for some reason you do not like the fireplace that came with this unit, you can swap it out easily for any 24 inch insert that you can find anywhere online including Amazon. Overall, I think this is going to go down as one of the best purchases I’ve ever made here on this app. I am extremely happy with this unit and the fireplace itself. If you were debating whether or not to get this and it is still $213, I am telling you to throw it in your shopping cart and buy it right now. You will not be disappointed! ... show more

I was looking for something inexpensive for my basement living room. This fits nicely and is pretty sturdy. I like that you can use the “fireplace” and heating element separate. Keeps the small space warm on cold days.

This is a gorgeous TV stand. I love the little almost realistic fireplace. It was easy to build by myself and instructions were pretty clear. Only issue is the heater can get loud. Sort of scary, not sure if it's normal. Very good quality for the price. Some of the lock screws go in deeper than they should. The little heater does work very well. I've been wanting this for a while. I researched as much as I could in a lot of different ones. I love the color it's a grey wood not too much of a pale grey. It arrived ahead of schedule. I'll recommend buying some better wood glue for dowels though. Also beware when putting it together one piece was not right. It was supost to be opposite of the other and it wasnt. I didn't feel like waiting in the right piece so hubby and I fixed it. There are many places to keep it tighten up. Assembly was about 2+hours. Could have been much less of we had the right part. Manual I'm guessing is out dated. The fireplace insert was not like the manual. It didnt take a genius to know what to do to screw it in place. Once assembled if you need to move it pick it up with help. If you scoot it the piece under it to give a little more security comes loose and could break if you're not careful. I do wish the fireplace had a remote but I don't mind getting up to turn it in. Also there's only an in for heat no heat level. There is an only flame no heat feature. I'll update if anything happens to the one we bought. Updated nov 2016 it has since bowed in from a 48in tv weight. The tv is average size for a new aged flat screen and the stand shouldn't have bowed in. I'm disappointed in it and looking for a new stand. The fireplace insert itself was used sparingly and still works amazingly. The stand folded in and collapsed when we moved it two feet. It’s the worst piece of junk. ... show more

OMG seriously the cutest, I've been looking for a while as I am on a limited income, so when this went on sale for 119, I ordered it. It came on time with great packaging, even added a couple of extra slabs so it wouldn't slide around. The directions are pretty easy to follow, but there are a lot of parts. It's easier to put together with two people but one person can do it. I love it order it you will not be disappointed. I bought it for my bedroom, to be able to relax, watch tv, and enjoy the fire place which can be turned on with or with out using heat. Get it you will love it. ... show more
