Really impressed with this furniture piece. Got it in the dark walnut color for our basement. Installation instructions are very clear and precise but it still took me 3 hrs to assemble. It is very heavy and sturdy and seems it will last. Like that it is off the floor so I can vacuum/swiffer underneath The drawers are a bit wonky (still very functional though) but that is likely due to how I put the screws in. I’ve been searching for an entryway credenza for months. This was one of my top picks as far as style. But with ordering furniture online, there’s always a quality concern. The reviews were a bit mixed, but I decided to go for it. As far as quality, I’d say it was better than I expected, albeit not great. Totally agree with other reviewers regarding unclear assembly instructions and misaligned holes. Like another reviewer, I had to reinstall the drawers because they didn’t close all the way due to said crappy assembly instructions. Pro tip to avoid making the same mistake for this part: make sure the sliding brackets are screwed in all the way to the back of the wood pieces they go into. The pre-drilled holes were wrong. As a result of the aforementioned faux pas that caused the drawers not to close all the way, they were scratched up by the sliding door. Pretty upsetting to have that on a brand new piece of furniture. Assembly took close to 4 hours by myself. I was going as slow as possible to avoid mistakes since I’m not good at furniture assembly. This sideboard is so pretty! I love how it looks in my living room. Also it is very solid and heavy. However, the instructions left quite a bit to be desired, specifically when it came to installing the drawer hardware. The pictures/instructions were not clear on how the rails should line up with the boards. On one page it was lined up a certain way and on the next page it was totally different. I went with one and of course that was not correct (the drawers wouldn't go in all the way). It seemed there was no way to know this until it was all put together. Then it became a challenge to use my phone light to be able to unscrew the rails and move them (4 pieces). But in the end it looks great and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. ... show more

In assembly I found when the screws used to attach the sides and form the corners of the drawers often caused the wood to split. I had a hard time not splitting the fiberboard and that distorted the paper wood looking surface. The top of the cabinet is good. The bottom is good. The front is good. The shelves are good. The drawers were weak, and I had to use half a bottle of Elmers to make them reasonably solid. ... show more

Setting this up has been a total nightmare. Due to poor quality directions the drawers didn’t fit into the rails properly which isn’t discovered until you’re close to being completely finished with the set up. My husband had to go in with a flash light and unscrew all the rails and he still can’t get the left side ones to match up because the predrilled screw holes that were on the pieces to begin with do not line up with the holes in the rail hardware. He completely gave up on the left drawer and was just going to put on the sliding door to cover it up and the door is about a half an inch too short. 😡 It doesn’t stay on at all. If I would have known how irritating this setup would have been I would have just bought something else. I reached out to the company, hopefully they’ll send a new door. If you’re on the fence about this, just save yourself the headache and don’t get it. If I didn’t already have it almost completely setup I’d be returning it. 😒 Update - haven’t even had this for three months and now the only drawer we could get placed properly has already broken. The whole front of the drawer has completely came off and will no longer stay on. Again - DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. The quality is absolutely unacceptable. ... show more

I think this item was made very nicely, especially for this price range. It went together well and fairly easily, although it did take some time. Overall, it is a very nice design and looks great!
