So I had quite an adventure trying to get this thing stand delivered to me in the first place. I paid extra to have it brought inside my entryway as I live alone and was worried about being able to carry a heavy box over my front door step. So I scheduled a 3 hour window which came and went with no delivery, no phone call, nothing. I was very upset as I rearranged my schedule for this and felt I should have at least been contacted. I spoke with Amazon and this was not an issue with the courier, but actually with the Amazon fulfillment center. The Amazon rep I spoke to was very nice and offered me a a small credit to compensate for my trouble and a ticket was put in to try to track down my order and I would be contacted with an update. More time passed and after receiving no update, I reached out and spoke with someone else at Amazon who said they would put in a new order for me as enough time had passed and “something happened” to the original piece. What happened, I’ll never know but I also didn’t care as long as I just got my new order. This involved emailing and speaking with a special number for certain Amazon orders like this one for large furniture pieces. I had asked about the extra money I paid to have the piece brought inside, but the people I spoke to didn’t have an answer. Eventually the delivery people came (in a rented truck, no uniform, no identification. I am a little confused as to what courier they use.) However, it was very nice to have a GPS tracking function of the truck to see exactly where they were so I would be home in time. I left work early as they were nearly to my house and my delivery window was first thing in the morning. After I got home I watched the truck turn and go around my house and make 5 other stops before me. I work nights and had to stay awake for this. Eventually, the 2 very nice men made it to my house and I asked them if they could please help me bring the package inside, which they did even though my order did not indicate I had paid extra for that. I am thankful these men were so nice after this mess. Finally! I had my tv stand and could put it together. The quality is very impressive for not being solid wood. I had recently put together another piece from another company so the difference really stood out on how much better this one was. It even includes wood glue for extra sturdiness for some of the parts. The reason I did not give many stars for ease or assembly was because some of the pilot holes were positioned in a place that no one would be able to contort their hand with a screwdriver properly. The doors also were an issue because they are just held on with flap hinges, not an actual hinge. This leaves no way to adjust to make them straight. You aren’t supposed to use power tools, but using a screwdriver with the tiny pilot holes was extremely difficult. I had to have someone hold the doors while I screwed them on because I needed to brace the stand to be able to get the screws to go into the pilot holes. After the very long journey of just getting the stand delivered to my house, to the frustrating assembly, I am now overall happy with the product. I only gave 4 stars because the positioning of the pilot holes in one area (the magnetic door stoppers) are nearly impossibly for a human hand to screw straight into. Also because the door “hinges” could have been a better design, but I assume this is for esthetics. The quality of wood is very good for not being solid wood, and the color is beautiful. This is a very nice, sturdy tv stand.

Some of the reviews for this were rough, and it wasn’t crazy expensive so my expectations were lowish. The instructions were perfectly clear and at no point was I filling in gaps with guesses. It is super sturdy and looks just like the pictures- not a similar product like you sometimes get on Amazon. Last but definitely not least, while it is a mass produced product, there were no holes in the wrong place or missing parts. I wasn’t putting it together and having to force parts together. I am so happy with it! I will say, some of the reviews are about getting it damaged. I can see how this could easily happen, it’s packed well but if the drivers throw it around I could see it not being packed well enough.

After receiving a damaged unit, it was quickly replaced. Assembling this is pretty easy but you will need better tools to get ideal results. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. Comes with everything you need. The hardware for the door hinges were the biggest quality issue I encountered and opted to use my own wood screws to securely attach them. The screws that came with it broke with very light pressure so I suggest you take the pre-drilled holes and enlarge them slightly for better results. The doors are a nice touch but I could never get them to be properly aligned. Not a big deal but it might bother some. Really fond of the color.

Pictures don't do it justice!!! It is very, very sturdy and heavy....that puppy ain't going no where!! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for "easy assembly", because it will take 2 people to put most of it together. The instructions are great and very easy to read and follow. I will put the doors on tomorrow, because I'm tired and it's late. The doors come already assembled with the glass and it's tempered glass at that!!! It's kinda ash Grey in color. I would buy again!! Well worth the money....every dime!!! I have absolutely nothing bad or negative to say about this TV stand.
