Just finished putting this thing together. Took about 1.5 hours total including unboxing. I did it by myself with no help. A few thoughts: - Really well packaged - Great, simple instructions - You can use a power drill if you have one with power settings (I lowered mine to the min (2 out of 20) and it did speed things up. - Great finish on the white oak model. Nice distress look will hide scratches. - Plenty of extra parts to spare. - Fire place looks really nice. - Super strong and well designed so no issues with weight * My only ding would be the hinges for the two front doors. They have some play and as a result the doors to catch a bit when opening and closing. I tried my best to get them centered before tightening down the screws. One door ok, the other catches a bit. Not enough for me to lower by a star. This thing looks great for the price.

I did assemble this myself without assistance in a few hours. I took my time, used the wood glue where I should have and I did use a drill. Everything worked out perfectly- no missing pieces and the directions were easy to follow. I am very pleased with how it turned out and happy with this purchase!

This is a beautiful TV stand but it does require a lot of patience to assemble. Be sure to follow directions to the T or you will be taking it apart to fix issues. The connections are those locking screw-in things that once they are in place will break very easily if you need to redo them. They are cheaper versions and not enough extras are supplied. I ended up ordering better quality replacement lock screws on Amazon for those that broke (9 broke). Very sturdy and great looking when you put it together properly.

No complaints with this. Everything came as described. Fits 65 flat inch without issues. Well made and very sturdy. Upon delivery the box was destroyed. We had to ask the UPS driver to leave it half way in yard, as he was dragging it, attempting to get it to the door. With how damaged the box was and witnessing the UPS driver, we thought for sure it was destroyed. To our surprised, it was extremely well protected! Not a scratch on it and the glass pieces were all intact. We did read a review were an individual thought it was wrong color upon opening. We had that same thought at first but after digging in further, we found that it was discarded pieces of wood used to protect the product. So, do not be mislead by the discolored pieces you first see and jump to conclusions. Took about 2 hours to assemble, wouldn't recommend power tools. Phillips head screw driver is all you need, product comes with Allen key. Other point we really liked was while doing a quick inventory of listed parts, we actually had extras of every piece of hardware. Definitely prefer too many as opposed to not enough. Very happy with this product. Highly recommend for the priced we paid.

I decided to buy this WE Furniture Barn Door TV Stand after I grabbed a new LG OLED 55" TV during Amazon Prime Day. The TV's delivery was only 3 days away, so I had to move fast. I also had to find a TV stand that would fit within the 60" space on the wall between two doors in my "Multi-Media" room where the TV was going to be located. The knocked-down DIY TV stand arrived one day before my TV, and I spent four hours by myself on a really hot July Friday building it. The instructions were detailed and clear, and all parts (including the wooden top, sides, shelves and bottom) were labeled with stickers that were identified in the well-written step-by-step installation manual. I made two mistakes which I quickly corrected, and the stand was completed within four hours. The finished stand is very attractive and sturdy, and has adjustable shelves providing adequate storage for a cable box, DVD players, speakers along with DVDs and other accessories. And while the sales information on Amazon's as well as WE Furniture's web sites indicated that this stand is designed for TV sets up to 50", my 55" flat screen TV fits fine. I really like this TV stand and recommend it highly.

This was very difficult to assemble as it is very heavy and requires holding pieces in place while putting it together. I did it by myself and it took 3.5 hours. It would have taken less time if the parts had all been there, the hardware was properly labeled, and the holes for screws had been the right size. The piece that goes underneath the whole thing in the middles is missing and it's needed to keep it from bowing in underneath the fire place, so I will need to go find something else I can use. Hardware was mislabeled including screws that were too long to screw in the magnetic plates in the doors. This caused the screws to go through the front and damage them. I used the provided stickers that kinda match the grain that is used to cover the cam locks. I couldn't get screws to go through the holes and had to use a drill which is not recommended, and stripped some of them. I had to borrow the drill from a neighbor and then had to go back to borrow the bits that make every single screw hole in the thing bigger. Some screws were also missing and I had to improvise the best I could with ones I had around the house. Wooden dowels were missing too, and some cam locks were damaged so it might be why the whole thing doesn't feel super solid and stable. The best part: one of the doors won't close! I checked that every piece, screw, hinge, everything is lined up, and the door hits the edge and won't close so it's just open. I would have just returned it after the first problem but it weighs so much I had to bring it in in pieces, and there's no way I could have physically gotten it anywhere. That's kind of a good thing because it's pretty good quality wood, but that's about all it has going for it! Do not buy this!
