The product comes as advertised. I was especially pleased with the deep wood tones that some of these build kits lack. It is a sturdy build that is mostly easy to assemble (with the exception of a couple of poorly piloted holes around the door hinge which require a bit more force than expected). Like many similar products, this comes with wood textured stickers to hide screw holes after assembly. While these do a solid job from a distance, it feels obvious and tacky when viewed up close. Luckily (or maybe not) my decision on whether or not to use these stickers was made for me: the adhesive is NOT sufficient and the stickers all came off independently after just a few days. I don't mind the look of this TV stand with visible screw holes, though, so this didn't impact my own enjoyment of the product but it's something buyers should be wary of. I like the looks of my TV stand cabinet. Its very sturdy and pleasing to the eye. It took about 2.5 hours to put together but I will say you need two people. I guess one could do it but it would be very frustrating. All the holes were drilled properly, the instructions were easy to understand and correct with the pictures. The product overall is great. It is very sturdy while I was building it my toddler was jumping on it and it held up fine. Color is very pretty had 2 small scratches but hardly noticeable. My only complain would be that it is way too small for $120. The size of this should be more around $70. In the pictures you can see the comparison between the one I currently have (which was $300 and came already built) and the actual product. It took me about 1 hour to build instructions are very clear and easy to follow just make sure the pieces are facing the correct way. This is a beautiful TV stand but it does require a lot of patience to assemble. Be sure to follow directions to the T or you will be taking it apart to fix issues. The connections are those locking screw-in things that once they are in place will break very easily if you need to redo them. They are cheaper versions and not enough extras are supplied. I ended up ordering better quality replacement lock screws on Amazon for those that broke (9 broke). Very sturdy and great looking when you put it together properly. ... show more

No complaints with this. Everything came as described. Fits 65 flat inch without issues. Well made and very sturdy. Upon delivery the box was destroyed. We had to ask the UPS driver to leave it half way in yard, as he was dragging it, attempting to get it to the door. With how damaged the box was and witnessing the UPS driver, we thought for sure it was destroyed. To our surprised, it was extremely well protected! Not a scratch on it and the glass pieces were all intact. We did read a review were an individual thought it was wrong color upon opening. We had that same thought at first but after digging in further, we found that it was discarded pieces of wood used to protect the product. So, do not be mislead by the discolored pieces you first see and jump to conclusions. Took about 2 hours to assemble, wouldn't recommend power tools. Phillips head screw driver is all you need, product comes with Allen key. Other point we really liked was while doing a quick inventory of listed parts, we actually had extras of every piece of hardware. Definitely prefer too many as opposed to not enough. Very happy with this product. Highly recommend for the priced we paid. ... show more

Just finished putting this thing together. Took about 1.5 hours total including unboxing. I did it by myself with no help. A few thoughts: - Really well packaged - Great, simple instructions - You can use a power drill if you have one with power settings (I lowered mine to the min (2 out of 20) and it did speed things up. - Great finish on the white oak model. Nice distress look will hide scratches. - Plenty of extra parts to spare. - Fire place looks really nice. - Super strong and well designed so no issues with weight * My only ding would be the hinges for the two front doors. They have some play and as a result the doors to catch a bit when opening and closing. I tried my best to get them centered before tightening down the screws. One door ok, the other catches a bit. Not enough for me to lower by a star. This thing looks great for the price. ... show more

The material was slightly cheaper than anticipated. The top wood piece was bowed, but was able to be flattened when attached to the frame. The doors were especially disappointing because they are thin, yet hard to screw hardware into. The self tapping screws were the most difficult to install and often stripped before they fastened. The screws that “secure” the fire place were also difficult to fasten because the screw placement was too close to the fireplace to allow a screwdriver to be used head on (hand didn’t fit). The end product looks alright, but was not worth the roughly 4 hours it took to put together. Pay someone else to assemble this. ... show more
