My first impression upon completion of assembling this set is how absolutely gorgeous it looks -- it's simple, yet elegant, and will truly match any style! Secondly, I was impressed with how STURDY this set is. So many wood sets tend to be flimsy, but this one is insanely solid. We have two boys who are both terrors, so we needed something that wouldn't break easily, and this was perfect. The only part of assembly that was a problem was assembling the leaf/extender side supports on the long-sides of the table. The way the directions show you how to assemble this part is completely confusing, and we ended up flip-flopping two of the pieces. However, it was easily fixed, and honestly the table would have been fine had we left it that way -- we just wouldn't have been able to "un-extend" it :) My only warning about this set is you MUST be dedicated to maintaining the wood. The top review on here shows a photo of the table "looking a decade old" -- this is a completely unfair review -- it looks that way because the buyer was lazy didn't oil it as you're told to both in the description of this listing and in the directions when you get the table. If you're not going to follow through on maintaining items, don't buy them. Otherwise, if you're willing to do the maintenance (it's honestly not hard to oil something once every three months), this is solid investment at an amazing price! :) Highly recommended, and would absolutely purchase from this brand again. ... show more

First, I love the table. Second, I did something I don't usually do -- I sprang for the Amazon installation feature as it looked like it would take me all day and after doing a lot of DIY projects I was just in no mood! :) I was SO glad I did! They came right on time and were done in an hour. One of the chairs came with two right arms, so I contacted the company directly and they corrected it immediately by sending me not one but two chairs as replacement!! Bonus! So the reviews here have to be for just the table which are misleading. I purchased the 6 seat option with the 4 chairs and bench and extendable table. The chairs do not fit under the table when they are side by side. What a huge design flaw! I even contacted the company to see if they had sent a wrong part or maybe sent chairs that were too wide for the table. Nope they said that is how it is manufactured. Like why on earth designs table so you can’t push the chairs under. Makes it uncomfortable to eat at and they take up way more space when not in use. As you can see in the picture they have these support brackets that would be in the way but on top of that, even if those weren’t there, the chairs are too wide side by side to even fit in between the table legs. For $1200 I expected something better. But now I’m stuck with it because no way am k taking this whole thing apart just to ship it back. So now only have the 4 chairs and the bench is taking up space on our patio ... show more

    • Nice furniture. Build process could be improved
First off, furniture looks great. The leaf folds away nicely and wood is very nice. But...putting it together was slightly painful. Instructions are fine but a lot of holes don’t line up. I had to redrill quite a few. Do yourself a favor and when you put the legs on the table top (one of the last steps), loosen the top mounts a bit. It might help. And the little patches that hold the sections together, yea those holes are awful. Have fun! ... show more

    • Beautiful sturdy patio set
I purchased this set for my daughter for her new home. The wood is a beautiful color and very sturdy. Highly recommend this set. A few issues with delivery but overall a Great price for 100 % Acacia wood. Cushions included. Just beautiful.
