Mounts were solid, easy to install, and look good. Allow for horizontal plane rotation of speakers and everything was well documented for installation. There are 5 wall mounting screws that fit on a single stud. I'm not sure about mounting on dry wall only, but spacing was sufficient to mount on a stud. Due to weight and distance away from wall would recommend to have a couple of screws mounted to a stud vs. having all of them using anchors to a dry wall. How to best hide the power cable is the biggest challenge. ... show more

The weight limit on the manual for this is like less than a pound more than the actual weight of the Sonos Five. Let’s hope it holds! If it does, it’s a steal because it’s easy to install and a sleek design. Bought only 1 to try it out. Gonna be a 2nd for my other Five

The media could not be loaded. *update Oct 28th. Still mounted solid, swivels smoothly. I chose to add a short video and a pic because while doing research I did appreciate others’ reviews a lot. Its a stout, well designed kit at a very fair price. The mount is solid and the Sonis Five is very secure in there. I had my doubts, but the top clamp and the little lip on the bottom with the two screws made me feel a lot better. My kids will be playing under these. I used the everything from the kit but the mounting screws/anchors. Mine are mounted on a block wall to a concrete header over a window, and another over a patio slider. Drywall was cut out and plywood used for solid backing. Long tapcons hold everything together as I do not want this thing coming down on its own. The swivel action is smooth and has no vibrations at all. Today is day one. I will update the review as time goes on but I am impressed so far. ... show more

I’m glad they finally made a Sonos mount that is specialized for the speaker and quality without costing an arm and a leg. Easy to install, does not need to go into a stud. Looks good, feels sturdy. Glad I found this mount.

When we build our outdoor kitchen I had power outlets put into the ceiling in anticipation of mounting my Sonos 5. I mounted this bracket to the header, near the ceiling. Plugged in the Sonos 5 and was up and running. No problems.
