  • Ebike bars
Perfect height for my mountain bike. Keeps me more upright and comfortable.

  • Great bars - needed a stem shim to install
The length is awesome. The height is for me since I have back pain and don't want to bend over. Light weight. Love em'.

  • Work as expected.
I am converting a hybrid bike to a cruiser/comfort bike, because I want a more comfortable ride as I approach my 60s. I combined these handlebars with a comfort/spring seat to create a new bike. Handlebars went on easily. After installation, I took an inch off each side of the handlebars with a pipe cutter. I love the look and ride now. This requires replacement of brake and gear cables because of the 5" lift. It is really more comfortable to have the handlebars higher than the seat, so you are not leaning over while riding, and the look is great! ... show more

  • Turned mountain bike into a comfortable bike
As I am fortunate enough to get older, bending forward on a bike is less acceptable. A stem extender and this 5" rise handlebar puts me in a comfortable position on the bike. This reduces the stress on my wrists and back. It's fun to ride again. The bar itself is nicely painted with what seems so far to be a durable coating. Be advised that if you want to use your old, separate brake levers and shifters there may not be enough room on the bar due to the increased bend. I replaced mine with a brake/shifter combo that works very well and leaves plenty of room for the grips. I also had to put on new cables that would reach the greater distance. That turned out to be easy to do. None of this was very expensive, especially compared to the cost of a new bike. ... show more

  • It Bent
I have a 44.5 cm Trek Hybrid and the handlebars fit perfect. The handlebars go out from the center, and then sweep backward about three or four inches. Perfect size that allows me to almost sit strait up while I ride. I got into a wreck and the handlebars got quite bent. I'm not blaming the handlebars, but I've been in many wrecks, and this is the first time I bent my handlebars. ... show more

  • Good value handlebar
Excellent build handlebar, not taking off a star but shipper sent it in a plastic bag and it broke through and scratched up the enamel finish. Despite this definitely a cruiser style bar, which not pictured sweep back and up slightly at the ends. The description states it's a 27" bar but it's actually closer to 30" so I'm going to take an inch or two off the ends which still leaves plenty of room for brakes/shifter/grips/mounts. Rather than using a stem quill to add forward reach I'm using these angled all the way forward and is much more comfortable. Good value, solid handlebar. ... show more

  • Relax and enjoy the world
I had a 27 inch handlebar from Wald but needed something wider for having more space for my hands as well as my new, bigger index shifters. This 30 inch handlebar was the perfect answer! It's of sturdy steel construction, and painted black which means if it gets rusty (and that happens fast here in South Florida!) I only have to re-paint it. This handlebar is just the right thing for converting my MTB into a commuter bike. I bought it together with a stem riser because I am 6'1" tall, and I must say, now I can sit upright, relax and enjoy the world! UPDATE October 2013: Eight months and through a South Florida summer and not a single speck of rust. WOW! Also, the paint withstood chaining the bike to lamp posts and the ilk without getting marred too badly. Definitely I can recommend this handlebar. ... show more

  • Five inches means five inches!
We found the correct handlebars at this site! 5 inch raise IS a five inch raise. We ordered a different set from another site. I don't know how they measure, but the first (from a different vendor) didn't accurately represent stated height/raise. These Do! My wife now has a comfortable ride with no back (from leaning) issues. Easy to install, fast shipping, and reasonable price. Everything you want in a product. Thanks. ... show more
