This waist twisting machine is supposed to provide exercise for your torso and arms. The board moves smoothly without sticking, and the motion feels gentle on the knees while still engaging the core. However in my opinion, it does not provide enough twisting motion to be any different than standing on the floor and twisting in the same motion from side to side. In fact, in is slightly dangerous for the fact it is not locked, and the whole platform can and does move when you step on it. If I was a young person again, this might not be a big deal, but for older mature adults it could create a fall risk. It is quiet, since it is totally a manual exercise machine. The foot massage texture was very unpleasant to me. I put my sneakers back on and that felt much better. I will say the plastic is not slick or slippery. The base feels stable underfoot and doesn’t slide around on hard flooring. It’s lightweight enough to tuck away when not in use, which is helpful for smaller spaces. Setup isn’t required — just step on and start twisting. However, for me, this just doesn't feel safe, and I probably won't try to use it much. There was an extra pink 'something' they included, which is made of super-lightweight foam. It is not mentioned anywhere in the advertisement. I looked it up and it's called a 'pedal pull.' I had a hunch that's what it was. Here again, the part you step up is at least a couple of inches high, and is not comfortable, in my opinion. The set also comes with a jump rope. All in all this waist twisting machine seems well made, but I think there are inherent safety issues with these type of products.

It's decent. I didn't have high hopes when I took it out of the box. It felt like it wouldn't be up to my standards, but it is actually made well. The foot pads are wide thick and have nubs that keep feet from sliding, which is great for safety while using. There are also rubber/plastic ends on the legs that help keep it stabilized. I use mine on carpet and there has been no damage. It stands up to me and my husband, both. We aren't small, so that's already a huge positive. It lays pretty flat for easy storage and can be tucked away so it's out of the way. I lean it against the wall and it stays out of the way, too. It's heavy enough that it won't move easily. As for effectiveness, I suppose time will tell. I've not had it long enough to really see the difference, but I do feel it while doing it, and for a couple days after.

The media could not be loaded. So far, I really love this new exercise machine. I wasn't sure about how the quality would be and if it would actually work and even hold my weight without breaking under my feet.. I'm happy to report that it's made very nicely with quality parts & holds my weight 150lbs and my husband's 260lbs. I have put this bad boy to the test since the second I got it. I love that it is so easy to do, step on and be intentional with your movement while keeping you core engaged. You'll start feeling the burn rather quickly. I also like to hold the bands in one hand at a time and twist to the opposite side 100 times on both sides. I smoke so every time I go out to have a cigarette I jump on it. Counterproductive I know but makes me feel like I'm just adding to my workouts daily. I weight train in the evenings but enjoy doing this afterwards as my cool down. It's not really a cool down though as I break a sweat and feel the core on fire every time. Even just 3 mins will have you feeling the burn. I did find that I thought I was well stretched and equally as loose but quickly learned my left side needed some work. So be mindful jumping o right away and going hard. You could hurt yourself . So I advise good stretching daily. I truly love this and you will too.
