I want to talk to bodyboard designers and tell them all to attach the leashes like this so they're easy to carry back and forth from the beach. So smart! Plus this is a lightweight board that's nevertheless a thick enough foam to be durable. I like that it's bright green and so easy to spot. We have a couple 36" boards, so I thought this 41" one would be noticeably bigger, but they all look to be about the same size. I guess that makes sense, but know that this isn't a huge board. Beautiful blue! Love the carry strap because these things are tricky while walking to the beach, the wind picks them up. I learned years ago that all body boards are not the same. Some are a Styrofoam or similar. This is the real deal, and as such should last a long time and won't break in half after some aggressive wave riding. I tried it out yesterday on Lake Michigan. The waves weren't that big at all, maybe 1 - 2 feet at most. I wasn't getting much, but if I timed it just right, I could ride the crashing wave about 15 feet! It was definitely a typical to calm day at the lake, so I'm very excited to see what this can do with some bigger waves that we can get around here! The leash is pretty nice! The velcro feels very secure when you wrap it around your wrist. It's elastic so it can stretch a little. It also works well when you clip it to the board to make it a backpack. The board arrived in perfect shape. Box with the board inside a larger box. The packing is particularly important because the board is something that could get damaged in shipping. The board is quite light, is a good size for an adult, and has the security strap separate which needs to be attached. My 12-year old daughter went boogie boarding for the first time on a recent vacation and fell in love with it so we got this on our return so she would have her own for future beach trips. We took it to the beach the other day and she said it was comfortable easy to use, and satisfied with it. One thing I noticed different about his board that was very convenient and we liked was that the wrist strap can be snapped down to the board which creates a "sling" or strap that you can place around your shoulder or across your body to make carrying the board easier. ... show more

Our 9 year old absolutely loves this board. It is light weight, easy to carry(sling goes around his back) and is fantastic in the water. He tends to rather picky about his boards and as we are at the beach almost daily, it is important that the board is durable, easy to carry and 'flexible' in the water. This is a nice, well constructed bodyboard with a great, like, really GREAT leash - it doubles as a shoulder strap for carrying the board around. The board has a nice smooth top surface with just enough texture to get a good grip but does not rub my skin raw. The bottom is nice slick plastic that is great for getting a fast ride. It is very durable - has held up great to my daughter's this summer. They love the leash - makes it so easy for them to carry it down to the beach with all the rest of their stuff. ... show more
