Over the years, I have tried many body boards. I've gotten cheap ones from walmart, and I've gotten more expensive ones. But this one is the absolute best out of all of them. After my last cheap board broke, I searched for a new one. Came across this one and I don't regret it. It's super buoyant (floats well), it's super durable, and it's a big board which holds me up better, gives me better control, and makes it more durable. The wrist strap is also amazing. Chose this board for use off the coast of San Diego, and it has proven to stand up well in the Pacific surf conditions. Using fins to get out to the first break, and the board really takes off. Worth a few extra $ to get the heat laminated construction.

I bought this for vacation and it was well worth the money. Seems very durable and robust for a piece of styrofoam. I’m at the top end the recommended weight for it but I had no problem getting up and riding waves with this thing.

Everyone should google height weight requirements for what appropriate size board you need. Most boards on Amazon are for 9 yr old sized kids. So do your research or you WILL NOT CATCH ANY WAVES. This is a great board and my daughter caught WAVES ALL DAY LONG it made for an awesome day at the beach, while her friend hardly caught any at all because she weighed too much for her board. So she threw tantrums all day to borrow my daughter's board. At the end of the day my gf wanted me to send her the link to where I bought my daughters board. Sometimes walmart board are fine for 9 yrs and younger but I wouldn't get one of them for an older kid. The lesson here is: Do your research on google for the right size board, before you expect any ol piece of styrofoam to lift and carry your 150lb+ butt! ... show more
