I got the gray 20 x 20 inch and used a 20 x 20 inch pillow. It filled out nicely and is soft enough. The back is just a thin velvet like material. My biggest complaint is that the zipper does not go from corner to corner which I guess isn’t a huge deal but it just makes it slightly annoying to put the pillow in. I absolutely love these! They are not Sherpa soft …kinda scratchy but somehow still comfortable. If i take a nap on the couch with them I tend to turn them over to the back due to it being a softer feel.

I like this print and happy to have found these pillow covers in this cozy fabric. Only reason I took out a star, the check is not straight/lined up along the edges. Also wish it was check print in the back too but it’s not.
