The print on the instructions extremely small (take a picture to zoom in ) you may need them . The camera is light weight and easy to start using. You will need a TF card for storage of your photos and videos. I only took one photo of myself but the photo was clear and the camera was easy to use. I've had this camera a little over a month - I've been ill and haven't been able to use it until yesterday so I came back here to start a return because sadly, this camera is a piece of JUNK. The directions are extremely MINIMAL. To top it off, they are printed SO VERY SMALL that I can't even read them with my reading glasses on. I'm not even exaggerating. Most people aren't going to be able to read the directions without glasses! I had to take pictures of the directions with my phone and them BLOW them UP to read them. The directions themself include 3 pictures (if you want to call it that) with 4 to 5 steps each, and consists of "press this button quick to change to video mode," then press another button to switch between viewing video or pictures - and it's not easy to figure out when you can't even SEE the directions, not to mention there should be DEDICATED buttons for each function to make it easy to use...because it is NOT easy. There are 4 buttons to the entire operation of the camera and you literally have to GUESS which one turns what on or switches to a certain mode. The card that comes with it only hold about 10 minutes of video. I have no clue if it's compatible with an SD card with more memory. The video quality is not that great. For as much as I paid for this thing I could have gotten a real camera with an SD card that would record a 20 minute video. If you're lucky enough to find the settings, the direction pamphlet doesn't even detail what the options are for each setting. I can't tell you how long the battery actually lasts because it's too confusing to learn how to use the damn thing. The only good thing I can say is it is small so it's easy to stick in your purse or carry in hand. I want a refund. ... show more

Little disappointed half way through my Alaskan cruise somehow the sd card was corrupted. The few videos I was able to capture were an ok quality, battery life was good but does tend to get hot when charging. Audio is not the best. The directions were in very small print and a little tedious to figure out how to view content recorded and switching to picture mode vs video. Ok for a starter or child to learn with. ... show more

I returned this camera. The video quality was terrible. Like I used a camera from the dollar store. And the sound was terrible. Also, there is ZERO stabilization. The mic does pick up and hone in on sound well. It just sounds terrible. Also, the sound it makes when turning on & off makes it sound cheap. HOWEVER, I’ll give it an extra star because it does feel like really nice quality. Feels good & sturdy, not light or too heavy. Easy to carry in a pocket. And good battery life. Btw, to transfer video to a computer, you need to turn the camera on first and then plug it in. But yeah, I couldn’t recommend it at all, at least for YouTube videos.
