This was ROUGH! Tried to wrap a Harley Sportster. Unless you know what you're doing I don't recommend. Doesn't help that both my husband and I have very little patience. I have been looking for a wrap that matches Roland's midnight sparkle color on their VAD series v-drums. This is about a 99 percent match. It's super easy to install not a single bubble. A single 1x5 is enough to do 2 drums with extra left over. To install I took apart the drum, which took about 20 mins. I then prepped the shell with isopropyl alcohol, dried it, Used a heat gun to flatten the wrap, I then cut the wrap down the middle, peeled the start of the wrap and literally just wrapped it around the shell, any air bubbles push right out with your fingers with ease. I first ordered eBays cheap stuff and had bad luck, saw on here I can get a brand name Vivid for the same price I was paying on eBay, I put it in between my windows and it stuck right on, had nice adhesive, hit it with a heat gun and laid the corners down perfectly. I’m just dumb so installing was a bit difficult for me. If you use a ruler, measure and cut things properly. You’d easily place it where you want without problems. I did it by the eye and make a few mistakes but it still came out nice and you can’t see the mistakes because it’s black. I like the product, however the picture used shows a much lighter almost gun metal grey color which is more of what I needed for my uses. Unfortunately, I will not be using this product due to the darker color. The sparkle in the sun makes it stand out ! I wanted to be different then everyone else doing matte black so I tried this sparkle metallic and It worked out great !
