I did it by the eye and make a few mistakes but it still came out nice and you can’t see the mistakes because it’s black. Use for motorcycle and is strong durable quality, works better if two people apply but dont over heat or it will meat obviously but it is thick so can tolerate a heat gun. Stick is strong

I have been looking for a wrap that matches Roland's midnight sparkle color on their VAD series v-drums. This is about a 99 percent match. It's super easy to install not a single bubble. A single 1x5 is enough to do 2 drums with extra left over. To install I took apart the drum, which took about 20 mins. I then prepped the shell with isopropyl alcohol, dried it, Used a heat gun to flatten the wrap, I then cut the wrap down the middle, peeled the start of the wrap and literally just wrapped it around the shell, any air bubbles push right out with your fingers with ease. Vinyl is thick, feels like good quality. I'm no professional but install wasn't so bad, did take about 7 hours in total. I was expecting to have alot of silver shimmering but once I applied the vinyl I realized there is none. Other than that product is good

Not sure yet how it cuts , but I do like how thick the vinyl is.. when I unrolled it, it was wound so tight that when it was straightened out it had waves in it. The cutter will cut it like that but I hangs the blade up and makes a mess. It also makes the vinyl marked up.. I had to cut off about a little more that a foot to what is at the very beginning and the very end of the roll will be unusable.. plus if you do get it cut, the vinyl will no longer stick to the backing protecting the adhesive side..so I really got about 3.5 feet of vinyl so far not the 5 that I paid for plus whatever amount at the end is the same as the beginning if the roll. ... show more
