This perforated window vinyl works great. Easy to apply with a squeegee. No water needed. You first clean with window with 91% IPA and surrounding area. Leave at least 1 inch around window to allow for trimming. Tape to surface with wide masking tape. Fold backing and start application while using squeegee. You can trim away backing as you apply it. I made the rookie mistake of trying to install this on my rear windshield and it was a torrential, uncharted, exponential error on my part. It looked awful. It says on the package it's not for automobile glass, but I took it upon myself to say: "No, I'm an adult. I can do what I want." Only to find out "No. You cannot." It was easy to remove, but incalculably difficult to try to install on a rear windshield. Save your time, money, and frustration if you're not going to read the directions. I sure didn't. It works great on regular windows, though. I'm rating it 4/5 because it is REALLY sticky and tries to stick to itself while installing and it makes it somewhat difficult to work with. ... show more

This vinyl works well to reduce reflecting sun that was damaging plants and it looks great. Easy to see through from the inside, but there is a difference when compared to looking through clear glass. Challenging to install, but if you watch installation videos and take your time, you can install it. Used it on the back window of my trucks cab to help keep the sun out, but still allow me to easily look back at traffic. It makes it harder to see into the cab. I didn't want tint in the back because it's too hard for me to see or the back at night. This gave me a happy medium.

I'VE BOUGHT A LOT OF THINGS ON AMAZON OVER THE YEARS AND THIS PRODUCT IS PROBABLY THE WORST, IF YOU HAVE A SMALL WINDOW THAT YOU CAN EASELY ACCESS THIS PRODUCT MIGHT WORK FOR YOU, BUT YOU MUST MAKE AN EXACT TEMPLATE BECAUSE TRYING TO TRIM IT AFTER ITS IN PLACE IS DIFFICULT, ALSO THE INSTRUCTIONS SUGGEST LEAVING EXTRA AND TUCKING IT IN AFTER ITS INSTALLED THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN TUCK THIS STICKY STUFF IN WITHOUT LEAVING CREASES, AS FOR REPOSITIONING IT THATS A JOKE LIFTING IT TO REPOSITION IT CREATES (MORE AND LONGER) CREASES, AS DOES LIFTING IT TO TRY AND REMOVE AN AIR BUBBLE.IF YOUR DOING 6 INCH STRIP SURE IT WILL WORK BUT IF YOUR DOING A REAR WINDOW ITS DAMN NEAR IMPOSSIBLE, AND AT 48 INCHES LONG IT IS NOT LONG ENOUGH TO DO SOME MODELS OF TRUCK REAR WINDOWS.
