I've not had luck at installing window tint, but this stuff was very forgiving and looks great from the outside. I would definitely recommend a roller of some kind for applying this.

I recently needed a window tint solution to protect my artificial turf from melting, and VViVid's product exceeded my expectations. Initially, I had a small piece of turf that melted, prompting me to research various options. Many alternatives were prohibitively expensive, so I decided to try VViVid film, which was available at a fraction of the cost. I'm thrilled with the results. If this 60-something-year-old woman can install this, so can you. I purchased this so the sun reflecting off my window would not burn my turf. The hardest part of the installation was washing the window, seriously. Measure the product, cut on the handy guidelines, peel, and stick. The instructions recommended using a squeegee to smooth out the product, but not having one, I used a gift card, which worked like a charm. ... show more

-Update after a rainfall 3 days later ... I changed my 3 star to 1 as this is clearly low quality material. Water coagulates in the perforations during a rain storm and obstructs the view out unlike higher quality materials. Reading reviews (after the fact) it rips and stretches easy (not good). I have some prior wrap experience so I just refreshed my memory after I remove my prior window wrap on my van prior to this install. It comes prepackaged with creases in the adhesive liner to the film...(didn't help). I used the hinge method I've used in the past. If not for ALOT of patience with my heat gun...this would've been an even larger disaster than it is. Oh and I can still see in from outside. Maybe that's because my prior wrap had color and graphics which blocked nearly all outside visibility. ... show more

Using this to protect turf from melting. Covering French door glass panels that are roughly 2’x5’. It is slightly annoying to put on, and came with no instructions and their website didn’t offer any help. I wasted about half of it testing different methods. I also watched some 3m videos that recommend edge tape but I did not know about that before. Be very careful removing/reapplying during installation as it will stretch and creat more problems! I got one window done with minimal bubbles and it works perfectly for what I was after. There is now no discernible reflection and I’m certain it will protect the turf. VVIVID, please create some information for this product to simplify the installation, if it went on as easily as you’d hope for what is essentially a big sticker, I’d give it 5 stars. ... show more

We used this on our side by side utility vehicle on the windshield. It was easy to place and remove and place again. Adhesion is excellent. We covered the top so we could still see out easily. Excellent value.
