I used this to wrap my custom Guitar Hero controller, and it came out great! The vinyl’s good quality, and the matte metallic blue looks even better in person. It was also a cool way to test my wrapping skills. Totally worth it if you’re into DIY projects!

I have now wrapped my hood with this twice. While it was easier the second time , I have researched and know that 3m and some other more expensive wraps are easier to work with. Still this looks great and has lasted over a year and two tough winters.

First off, I'm a novice. I've wrapped a few things to varying degrees of success but it is what it is. This color blue is really nice because of the metallic quality so it changes color to dark and blue. Its pretty deep. It responds well to heat and I'm looking forward to removing the messed up places and trying again because the more panels I did on my Can-Am Spyder, the better I got. Using some knifeless tape would be better for it as well but that speaks to my abilities rather than the vinyl itself because its a big "DUH" statement.

** Update 4/23/24. The seller made it right and sent out the correct color for the remaining 2 rolls that were shipped originally in the wrong color. The vinyl is high quality and you can’t go wrong with it if you take your time and know somewhat about what you are doing. Seller was more than accommodating to make my order issue resolved. Will buy again. Ordered 3 rolls of this vinyl and only one of the rolls were the correct color. Contacted seller and they said they will ship out another shipment once I sent photos but couldn’t tell me when I would receive it. I’ll change my review to higher stars once I receive the correct color on all the rolls I ordered. The vinyl does go down smoothly and has good correction with heat gun. Air bubble easily push out. Once again just keep in mind you may not get the correct color on the first try. I’ll change my review if seller makes this right in a timely manner.

While the color is great for the most part, there are a LOT of little blemishes in the vinyl where the color is darker. At first I thought it was from me heating or stretching, but these ended up being in areas I didn't stretch or heat at all and had laid down perfect. I also had a big piece I cut off for my hood that has roll lines through it from it being on the roll. The vinyl doesn't stretch or glass out that easily and wouldn't recommend for a beginner. At least it's cheap and the color is good where there aren't blemishes, roll lines, or discoloration.

Looks good. Easy to work with. Easier with this cleaner and wet install spray. I’m a first timer. Buy the string cutter. Amazing stuff. Plan to throw out a piece. I bout a 5 foot by 25 foot roll and cut it in thirds in my chop saw. It’s enough to do this whole boat with mistake material.
