I've worn them for a week or two at work. They seem like they'll be comfortable and they are waterproof. I've deliberately walked straight through puddles with the foot wholly submerged several times and not a drop has come through. I've worn them in single digit temperatures with wool socks and my feet weren't cold. Problem is they won't last and that's for sure. The tread is already breaking down especially the blue treads. Since they're only winter boots, I may get a couple years out, but I'm pretty disappointed. I doubt I'll buy another pair from merrell. Also, the seam on the tongue digs into my ankle if i use the second hook for the laces.

I really like these boots they're very comfortable and they look great! However, they wore out very quickly. I walk 6 to 8 miles a day at work, mostly indoors. They wore out on the right boot, the leather separated from the sole. I am not hard on my boots, I simply walk a lot, and for the amount of money I paid for them they should have lasted several years. I wore them from January of 2020 to September of 2020. I stopped wearing them so they wouldn't rip any more than they already have. I have not contacted Merrill as of yet but plan to see if they can be repaired or if they will do something to help me out.

I was truly impressed with the design of this boot....Except for one thing: It was WAY too narrow. They claimed to be a 13-Medium. I was able to get them on my feet after loosening all the laces. Then my feet were burning and going numb like wearing old school ski boots. I took them off and held them sole to sole to my old 5.11 boots that were 13-Medium. These were noticeable narrower. I returned them and bought the non-ice model (still waterproof) in a 13-Wide. Should be better.

Tremendous all around boots. The tread is somewhat aggressive and grips very well. Keeps your feet very warm, would be too much for even mild weather though. These boots didn’t require much of a break-in at all. I would without a doubt purchase these boots again.

Very nice, durable, and sturdy boots despite weighing practically nothing. I swapped out the inner cushion for Copper Compression gel insoles which are far more comfortable for wearing all day. Not sure how durable the tread actually is, but it has much better traction on ice and snow than anything else I've tried short of crampons. The boots run a bit narrow, however, so order a half a size larger than normal and you'll be able to adjust the lacing to have them fit as needed.

First, the boots are awesome as far as keeping feet nice and warm. My feet may run hot but these boots most definitely work. They are a little tight around the front of the foot on the sides. I have pretty narrow feet and I bought the boot size I normally wear. I more than likely will not be able to wear any type of insulated socks as my feet probably wont fit. But so far I'm loving them!

So far so good. Feet have remained dry and comfortable. The boot is light weight and does not add fatigue after a long work day. I sure hope these boots last a full work season. Working around water and chemicals I have not had a boot last more than six months so we will see.
