At least one of my four stars is for Made in USA which I really appreciate. This is a serviceable little plastic ice bin, about the right size and shape to fit into most refrigerators and use most ice trays. I'm not crazy about it, primarily because it is not the exact size and shape I want in my particular fridge, so I'm using until I find better. I particularly dislike the tapered bottom. Why is it smaller at the bottom? That's a waste of space since it's still going to take up the footprint of the top part on your shelf. I also find it pretty cheap and unattractive looking. Many many not care in an ice tray, but I do as I'm kind of aeverything-gorgeous-in-my-kitchen kinda girl. But I can't in fairness take off more than one star for it being pedestrian looking so...there you go, objectively four stars for a product that does what it says it will and which looks only a little uglier in person than it's pic. PROS About the right size and shape to hold ice Lightweight. Dishwasher safe CONS No lid to keep out smells. I suppose people who use ice trays put them on top. I have automatic ice but also like to have a bin of ready-made ice available in the freezer. Kind of ugly and cheap looking in design. It looks kind of like anything you might buy at Target. Can I fault it? No. But I don't like it. Tapered at the bottom which seems like a waste of space. Why not make it the same size all the way up and down because otherwise you are just wasting space in your freezer. ... show more

Its nice and roomy for plenty of ice cubes. It was a little to tall for my freezer door (my fault, forgot to measure height when I measured). I put it in the freezer and put the ice cube trays in the freezer door. The tray is made well and thick. Im happy with the item.
