I did a full body wrap on my dodge challenger in this color, and the color shift is amazing. It is very hard to tell what the color of the car is at any given time when the sun is out, however when it is not sunny it just looks black. Originally I loved that about it but now I am getting a little bored of it. But don’t let that steer you away from this wrap if you live in an area that gets tons of sun. I live in the northeast and sun is a luxury we get only 3-5 months out of the year, thus I am going to re-wrap my car in a new color, probably ultra gloss candy apple red. That being said vivid is a great company and the adhesion is great on this I’m not sure what other reviewers were mentioning but prep the surface well and it sticks that all that matters. Other then that it’s durable and the suggested life is around 5 years according to vivid, mine has been on for around a year now and everything is still perfect. I do recommend a vinyl specific ceramic coating to go on top to increase your lifespan. But regardless it’s a very good wrap and if it can wrap the corners which are a 9/10 difficulty on a challenger bumper then it can handle pretty much any other car. The wrap I got looks like it was processed on the wrong side. The sticky part was exactly the color shown, but the part that is actually visible when you apply it is very dark, almost black, and pretty matte. It’s like they applied the glue in the wrong side. The vinyl itself seems to be good quality, hence the 3 stars. UPDATE: I was contacted by the seller offering a full refund just based on this review, which mean someone is paying close attention and I think that's fantastic customer service. Filw was old/ brittle. Tears easily while heating to work bubbles out. Color is amazing. Matches my car perfect. Just wish the quality of product was better....

This is black unless In direct light wouldn’t recommend for interior parts as there will not be enough light to show the red but if you use it on the outside of your vehicle in areas of good light it will be a color shift effect from black to dark red as you walk past the vehicle. On cloudy days it will be black The quality if the wrap is good very thick the color quality is nice and uniform but this is some of the harder to work with wrap that I’ve used but it sticks well I’ll probably try another brand next time but I give it a 3 ... show more

update: this compared to 3M is second rate. pain to stretch and lay down. adhesion is non existent and didn't stick even with heat. had to tape down the ends. surface was clean so that's no excuse. never buying this brand again. These vivid guys are making an absolute killing pushing this cheap quality at almost 3M prices... their profits on this is nuts for such inferior quality smh does not look like the stock photo at all. perhaps they ran out of the red the day this was printed. the stock photo is very misleading and outrageously optimistic regarding the red. I'm not color blind and my disappointment is shared by most of the reviews here that aren't sham entries. barely a tinge of any color other than matte black. a very bitter pill to choke down just because I wanted to save 5 bucks vs 3M... huge ripoff! avoid like the coronavirus! ... show more
