  • Looks great in my PC!
Size: 1.49ft x 5ft
I’ve always loved carbon fiber. I recently decided to build a PC and was looking for a way to make it stand out. This definitely did the trick. The wrap looks amazing. The only thing is that it was kind of difficult to install. The adhesive is strong, which is good, but kept getting stuck on various surfaces while trying to work with it. Overall, I would still recommend if you’re just looking for a carbon fiber aesthetic. ... show more

  • Not Easy
Size: 1ft x 5ft
The texture is nice on this vinyl wrap but its really not easy to stretch, I had to wrap my bumper and there were some rounded spots that needed to get wrapped and it wasn't easy going around slight corners on the bumper, if your gong on a flat surface then I dont see an issue, but what gets wrapped that doesn't have any rounded corners! ... show more

  • For our home rehab project, this was absolutely the right choice!!!
Size: 1ft x 5ft
We have a 1965 Brunswick pool table with ball return. Needless to say, it has seen better days. We decided we wanted to give it a makeover. My hubby and I discussed it and liked the look of the carbon fiber and thought it would look sharp against the red cloth we chose instead of the standard green. We also found a red pin-striping on Amazon. For the base, we painted it basic black. However one of the unexpected benefits to the carbon fiber vinyl wrap was that it also helped hide those small cracks and defects in the plastic that time and age had put in over the years. I venture to say our baby has never looked so good!!! We highly recommend this product. It is super easy to use and very forgiving letting you adjust and reapply to get it lined up perfectly (just be careful not to over heat or you can put holes in the vinyl). We hope the pictures help you to see what a wonderful job this product helped us do in rehabbing our pool table and bringing her back to her form glory and beyond. ... show more

  • True R Carbon Fiber 1.5ft x 5ft
Size: 1ft x 5ft
Alright, let me start with saying that this is my first time wrapping anything. I don’t even wrap gifts lol With that being said, I am completely amazed at how good this came out. Like, I really can’t believe I did this myself! I was very hesitant at first, but with a few DIY videos for tips.. I’m extremely happy with the outcome. The negative reviews here talk about the adhesive, the vinyl becoming brittle, the vinyl getting wrinkled, but literally all of that could of been fixed with a handy dandy heat gun. Even a hair dryer. Some tips I learned and wish I could’ve read here were: - CLEAN YOUR ITEM THROUGHLY A simple wipe down with a microfiber won’t do the trick. Isopropyl Alcohol or clay barring will remove contaminants that would affect how well the vinyl sticks. Especially towards the edge or where you come to a fold. - ALWAYS USE A LITTLE MORE FROM YOU NEED once you measure out how much you need, cut off an inch or two more. This will help when you come across wrinkles, air bubbles, or “fingers” (big long wrinkles you can’t squeegee out) the extra vinyl, make it easier to pull up on your vinyl to squeegee anything out. It also helps when you pull on your vinyl, it prevents possible tearing. Also it gives reassurance that you’ve cut enough to be able to wrap properly around your edges folds or creases. - A HEATGUN/HAIR DRYER IS YOUR BEST FRIEND Use minimal heat. It helps if you pre-heat your vinyl before applying it to your object. It will become soft and stretchy so that when you apply the vinyl not only will it stick better but it will also become flexible and take the shape of your object. (Like curves, lines, etc) also, when you’ve come to an edge, applying heat there will cause the vinyl to naturally fall over the edge and will stick better. Did your vinyl get brittle? Apply heat! Did your vinyl get wrinkled? Apply heat! Do you feel like you didn’t cut enough and won’t be able to wrap around the edge? Apply heat and stretch! - DONT BE SCARED TO PULL OR LIFT This is very durable material. But also don’t go to the extreme and over stretch. -KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON HOW VINY IS BEING APPLIED If an air bubble appears where you’ve just applied vinyl, it’s easier to pull back and work the bubble out, than to finish your wrapping and seeing an air bubble you missed located dead center on your object, making you basically unwrap your object halfway to get that bubble out Because you know it’ll bother you. You can use an old credit card or gift card (wrap the edge you’ll use with electrical tape to prevent scratching) or squeegee to assure the vinyl sticks to the entire surface. This also prevents air bubbles. - DONT FORGET TO POST-HEAT Once you’ve finished wrapping, apply heat to entire area you’ve wrapped. This is just as important as prepping the area you’re about to cover. Post heating will prevent the vinyl from trying to pull back and go back to its natural form. So with post heat you’ll know your wrap won’t lift or curl back. This is best with the heat gun, a hairdryer might be too weak for this one. I hope this helps! Enjoy! ... show more

  • Installed about 2 weeks ago, and it is still holding. But...
Size: 1ft x 5ft
You need a heat gun set to medium and a credit card. (Hairdryer on high) keep your distance. Heat it first to make it pliable, then remove a corner of backing. Place on item to be covered. Mine was two bowties on my Malibu. Use the credit card to smooth, then use the card to press into any grooves. (Don't use a new card) The first time I made a mess. But the second and third times looks factory. It comes with plenty extra if all you are doing is small emblems. ... show more

  • Adhesion sucks
Size: 1ft x 5ft
Tried to wrap one piece of trim and it would not adhere at all. Every time i applied a little heat, it immediately lifted off the trim. This is not my first time wrapping this trim and I've never had this much trouble with a wrap before. Just straight horrible. Wasted the whole roll trying to wrap a single piece. Even though ive used this brand before ive never had an issue like this. Never buying this brand again if this is what they are pushing out nowdays ... show more

  • The carbon fiber vinyl looks really great; however
Size: 1ft x 5ft
The carbon fiber vinyl looks really great; however, just like many other reviewers have mentioned, the adhesion of this product can be poor. The vinyl also tends to shrink really bad depending how much u have heated and stretched it. Overall easy to apply and use and looks great, just poor adhesive. I would like to try the 3m 1080 instead next time. ... show more
