without any sun during the day, the rims look black/gray-ish, the effect really shows when light hits the rims whether it be the sun or artificial light. Highly recommend.

i put this on a marching snare drum I'm redoing. The color is awesome but the material is very thin and very soft and didn't stick to the wood well. after using my own adhesive and clearing over it with resin, and buffing I'm happy with the outcome. I have a ton of extra time and money into this project now compared to my original expectations. might be a better product on a flawless flat surface this is not ideal for my application though. ... show more

I bought this to recover my laptop. The color is a bit more understated than shown in the picture. Also I found this vinyl a bit thick and not really fun to work with. I have covered several laptops in vinyl and none of the vinyl gave me as much of as hassel as this stuff. Since it is so thick it is difficult to make good clean cuts even with a new blade, notice the A. In the end I just abandoned the project and decied to find another use for the remainder of the vinyl. That being said I haven't yet tried it with my vinyl cutting machine. So I may enjoy it more after I find a use for it with that. Also I understand this vinyl is desighed for use with wrapping cars and therefore I suppose the thickness makes sense, as I'm sure it would holdup nicely outside. It just didnt really work for my needs. Also it adheres really well with no messy glue overun. It arrived quickly and packaged well. ... show more

This is my first experience using vinyl but my impression is that this product is very good. The black vinyl is high gloss and sturdy and adhesion seems good. I used it to cover the vertical columns of my car (Ford Escape) doors where the black vinyl had weathered away leaving bare aluminum where the covering has come undone. I just did the work today 12-28-2019. I'm satisfied with my own amateur work and now I have the holographic accent that I didn't have before :>). BTW, make sure to thoroughly clean the pieces you are covering. I would buy this product again. ... show more

Loved how thick it is and that the color shift was so apparent. It took a couple tries to get it to stick to a solid car logo. Have not tried it on a textured one yet.

The media could not be loaded. Looks amazing! I will admit this being my first time ever wrapping something, I definitely do not recommend trying to do a helmet. The constant curves are extremely hard to learn on. Great product though, from what I could tell it was very forgiving, and went back to original shape if I messed up. ... show more

This is the first time learning how to wrap on a vehicle. Use a less expensive vinyl for practice if your a beginner. Once I got the hang of it, it turned out amazing.
