I use the roll of this stuff to change the grill on my Range Rover to match my trucks color. When I first put it on I wasn't so sure how it would look but as soon as I use the heat gun to make it adhere properly the stuff worked awesome. Great deal for the price too.

As far as the product material it's good that holds up and it looks good it'd be nice if there was an easier way to work this onto a car without crinkling it or air pockets. I'm sure it's going to take a lot of time to master the skill of applying but I really don't feel like paying an arm and a leg for vinyl to practice on. ... show more

Success with this is going to depend on many factors. The biggest being patience. Flat surfaces are easier to work with than ones with hard curves (obviously). Start in the center and work your way to the edges. A heat gun or hair dryer is going to help shrink areas in tight corners. Sometimes, you will need to make a cut in areas that join together in corners. I recommend you buy a size larger than you think you need as you always end up with too short of a piece. If you can afford it, but some extra to practice with. Pulling and stretching the material help get a uniform and wrinkle free job, but be careful to not overdue it since you can stretch the material beyond its limit. ... show more

First time wrapping and it was hard to wrap for me. I ended up having several visible not smooth lines. I used heatgun and everything.

The product is a bit thin and even dust reads through it. So be sure remove all dust with a tact cloth. Then install the rap quickly. Or better yet, use the tact cloth as you apply the wrap. With that said, gloss black is the most susceptible to dust reading through. But it made a Alesis Strike kit look as good as a Roland:-) and all for under $20. ... show more
