  • Good Stuff! Not bad like people are saying.
I've used lots of vinyl from different companies. This is some pretty good stuff and I was surprised at how well it responded to heat. I got some bad folds in the vinyl from the FedEx and because the box it came in was too big it got smashed and folded. I was really angry because I thought it was ruined. It should ship in a tube or a triangle box to save material but also to keep it safe. Once I applied heat to it, all the terrible wrinkles went away. I saw just how good this stuff is. For the price you get a good quality vinyl. Strong and stretches well. Would highly recommend. Note: if you've never covered a surface this large with vinyl, your gonna have a hard time. You will need a buddy to help the process go quickly and smoothly. There's lot of YouTube videos explaining the installation process. If it's your first time, your gonna have a lot of trouble figuring out how vinyl works. I would recommend practicing on smaller surfaces of objects. Like maybe your computer. I think all the negative reviews are because people are doing this for the first time. But hey! $30 is a cheap practice price! Buy two, use the first one to learn and then use the second after you have some experience. Sorry for the dark pictures. ... show more

  • Not easy !
Was only going to wrap the roof of my 2017 Honda Sport.. Extremely hard to wrap by yourself without experience. Watched many videos on YouTube and I consider myself handy at most do it yourself projects. This film is soo sticky (I did prep the car extremely well washing and then with a clay bar to get the particles off that you can’t feel (try a sandwich plastic bag over your finger tips and you will feel bumps that weren’t felt) so that may also been a contributing factor on extra adhesion and the way it stuck to the roof. But to make it “glass” you have to keep pulling it up.. eventually you’ll still have things rub out.. I ended up throwing away the wrap., felt like it was going to rip the paint off even when just trying to adjust the wrap before I said Forget this. I’ve heard that Avery wrap has more forgiving.. I’d consider a professional installation if you are a first time installer ... show more

  • It doesn't get better than this.
Wrapped my hood and a few other parts on my TC with a 6x5 ft sheet of this stuff, gloss black and damn I'm impressed! Very thick and high quality, apply a little heat and it forms perfectly, got a few creases in my hood but it was my first time using vinyl, I'll order another sheet shortly and try to get it better this time but I highly recommend this vinyl!! ... show more

  • I like this stuff
I was a bit wary about using a vinyl other than 3m, but this stuff is really good and has some benefits over the mainstream stuff. I used it to wrap the roof of my BMW and after ordering it, the seller contacted me advice on installation. This actually helped out quite a bit because I was expecting it to go on like any other vinyl wrap. This one is completely based on using heat once it's in place. Also, hitting with a heat gone after it's on can help you get rid or the little scratches and swirls and everything that happened during install. ... show more

  • Used to wrap a truck front end. Good for the price. Get a sample size to check color.
Size: 10ft x 5ft
I wrapped a chrome bumper and a grill on my Silverado LTZ Z71. Vinyl came undamaged and got here quickly. Any minor creases came out with a little heat. Had some minor scratches which were easy to see as I got black. Wish I got a smaller sample as it's slightly more gray than my gloss black truck when viewed in full sunlight. See pics. Last pic is a before pic. I've worked with vinyl a few times, but not a pro. I found this vinyl pretty easy to work with on flatter surfaces It felt pretty thin and heated quickly. Too much pressure or heat and it tore pretty easily when conforming it. And I noticed it did not recover as well from stretching as some other vinyl I've used and it starts to lose color if stretched too much. If overworked or you have sweaty hands it starts to lose adhesion. It scratches VERY easily. I wrapped my felt applicator tool in an eyeglasses cleaning cloth to minimize scratches. The felt was leaving lots of scratches. Easy to see since I used black. Measure your item and add up to 10 inches in each direction you have enough to pull on. Watch some videos of it's your first time. If your wrapping a car I reccomend washing it, clay baring, then remove the part of possible and wrap it in a clean and warm room away from pet hair or dust. ... show more

  • It's a no from me, dog.
Had some creases from being in the box. I laid out out to try to flatten everything but is not good. Maybe it was my fault but I'm used to installing vinyl with a soap solution. Sisterly this stuff is not ok for a wet install. That is ridiculous, why not? Also it doesn't let out air bubbles, doesn't respond well to heat, and doesn't stretch nicely. It also scratches way too easily. Do yourself a favor, don't waste your money. I can't even return this crap cause I tried to use it. Should have known better. ... show more

  • Great value - easy to work with
great value and decent quality. I was a little disappointed at the crinkle damage to the wrap when I unpacked it. However once I applied some heat during installation, the crinkles came out. This stuff is very forgiving with a hair dryer. Most all flaws came out with applied heat. But don’t heat it to much though, because it WILL stretch and won’t go back- you’ll be chasing that stretch through the entire installation. So use heat sparingly. I used this purchase to wrap my new fridge in black. Pretty happy with the results. ... show more

  • Loved it... Transformed my tired old gel coat and completely updated the boat...
Size: 50ft x 5ft
I have to say it was NOT quite as simple as all the you tube videos make it look... this took me and my wife 2 and half days... from start to finish... I'd recommend buying more material than you need (for your first time), because it does take some practice... We had a couple of moments when it looks like I'd totally screwed it up... But the material Is surprisingly forgiving... with the right application of strength and heat... But, by the end of the second day we had it dialed in like pros... Its made a dramatic visual improvement... Hopefully it performs as well @ staying stuck to the hull... But it sure seems like it will... (time will tell) ...Now I need a new Bimini to match... Pleasantly surprised... & Highly Recommended!!! ... show more
