Good quality phone for a landline phone. Replaced a cell with this phone for a parent who couldn't use a cell well anymore and was a waste of $ keeping it. A landline is much cheaper to have if you only make calls. Especially good for elderly who lose their ability to navigate how to use a cell, or otherwise unwittingly let bad actors access data from their cell and install unwanted apps. I programmed family phone numbers in this phone and assigned each number a "digit". For example, if she presses "2", it will call me. Posted a list of names and digits next to her chair. It stores voicemails. One star off for two reasons: the menu wheel in the middle can be confusing for users (needs labeling), and the sound of her voice when she calls me seems a little distant and tinny. Great for anyone just making calls and wanting a $20 phone bill.

This brand always works well for me easy set up answering machine works effectively easy-to-use and keep clean programming was simple. Battery life good, ringer, volume control functionality effective and very easy/clear to see incoming callers phone number. I'm very pleased and do recommend.

it works but there is a hesitation in entering a phone number and the sound pressing the keypad produces. Also the sound of my call when talking and listening has a very tin can sound (kind of distracting). Definitely not a smooth sound or working phone. But I get my calls.
