It takes 42 seconds to measure a heart rate, and you have to stay calm during that time to get accurate readings. That is very hard for a person doing the work out. I tried to check my heart rate while keep my arm moving, it showed 114. The actual pulse rate was 79. Also, there is no instruction book provided, only a Quick Start Guide. ... show more

I thought it would be nice to receive messages on my watch but it only received some emails and NO texts despite me having all the settings dialed in on my phone. This item is an excellent value, as it does much of what my fitbit does, and sometimes more, but at around 1/4 the cost. It has a nice looking colorful display, that shows me time, steps, calories burned, Heart rate, and 2 other metrics all on the default screen. And I think you can also customize the screen to show many different options depending on what you like. So its quite good overall. The issue I have is some of the metrics are easy to track, over time, just like my fitbit, but some of the other metrics seem to not be in that easily trackable daily/monthly graph way, and you have to take the oxygen measurements yourself each time. So while my fitbit doesnt give me oxygen readings on demand, but only a general blood oxygen while I sleep...its awesome to be able to get a live blood oxygen reading anytime I want on my wrist. Its a huge step up for me from my fitbit in that regard. But it would have been much better if that data is tracked in the same monthly and daily graphs such as the steps, and calories are counted. Instead its like only certain points on the plot, if you do the reading, and not continuous and automatic. My fitbit charge 2 (or 4?) about 2 years old now does not do any of this either of course, but I think the newest model might. So this is better than a 2 year old fitbit, but may not be as advanced as the latest model fitbit. Its still a huge improvemebt from what I have, and excellent for the price though. If you just want to track steps and calories, and normal active stuff....this is great and tracks all those well. But if you want on-demand more in-depth readings as a default, you might want to look for a better model, but this will do a surprisingly good amount of stuff, as the basic level. It also has numerous....features I have not even used such as I believe texting, messages, phone stuff, and music....so ...its very impressive again, for all it can do for the price. I was also unsure of what app would need to be downloaded, and the FitCloudPro app you download was extremely easy to download and use, and I have had no issues with that, so also very happy with that aspect. Its a very clean and easy to use menu, just as I said, I would have liked if it had the best tracking graphs and continuous data addition by default...for some of the more advanced health metrics.
