I am quite surprised that this has quite a low rating because after 6 months of installation, I haven't had any issue with it so far. I actually requested this out of curiosity as it looks quite different my usual security camera systems. I (okay my father) installed it pointing the tool shed across from the new cabins my grandfather guilt on the camping site, which was about 6 months ago. The assemble seemed to easy (but my father and grandfather are really good at anything assembly.. unlike me). It rotates easily from the pivoting point you installed. It also comes with SIM card like almost all security camera systems, so you just need to put it inside. Now for the instruction, you just need to install VOSKER app, and follow through step by step set up instruction, which didn't take long at all. I always think the app determines the success of such systems and for that regard, VOSKER gets 5 stars ! It's quite easy to navigate through the app and images are quite clear. If you want solar powdered security cameras, I would highly recommend this one based on my experience. ... show more

There are a few things to love about this camera; first, the solar power. The fact that it is solar-powered reduces the need for any wires or batteries which is not only earth-conscious but also reliable in the right conditions. Since this is a heavy-duty camera that is made for the outdoors, it is nice that it is weather compatible. It has rained a few times where I have this setup and there haven’t been any issues with the technology. This camera is also bulky, so if it has to be set up in a place where animals can get to it, it is strong enough to withstand some wear and tear. The only downside to this is that it doesn’t connect to wifi. That is a good thing being that it can be in more remote locations, but it makes the instant photo transfer a little bit tricky. Your phone has to have LTE and use data to get the photos, so if you like to save data, this uses a ton of it. Your photos might also suffer if you don’t have the right amount of data. Overall, this is a really fantastic security measure for outdoor and remote locations. The camera is reliable in harsh conditions and stores data well. However, make sure you’re willing to be charged the extra data for the instant download. ... show more

At first we like these however we are on our third one at this point and they will not hold a charge, I’m not sure what that solar panels there for - seems to always be low battery and less than. 10% after 24 hours of charging

I needed a couple cellular cameras for a jobsite. I bought this one and a Tefrio camera just for fun since it was so cheap. I'm the type of consumer that believes that more is better. In this case that is not true. This Vosker camera has a time and a place for something but not my needs. It faces South on a wall of full sun nearly every single day here in Utah. Even with the built in solar the battery still runs out. I am on vacation and just got notice the camera is dead! So I need to get my ladder to get to the camera to remove the battery to charge overnight and reinstall. It believes the dumpster on site is heavy machinery and constantly alerts. PITA! Contrast that with the Tefrio that I can live view the site, pan around and zoom, have a conversation with people on site and this Vosker looks like a overpriced hunk of junk. The Tefrios solar panel is in the shade as well and the battery is consistently fully charged. ... show more

I thought, Vosker V150 is an awesome solution for storage monitoring. Though note that I had to speak to the unit manager to get permission to place the camera. If your storage is on your own property, you’re good to go. The only issue might be if you live somewhere where it’s cloudy for days on end. I live in a hot and sunny state, so the solar powered battery has no trouble recharging during the day. What I’m annoyed with is the lack of live view. I figured the mobile plan would include the ability to check a live feed. Heck, I can do that with my Wi-Fi pet camera when I’m away. If you could rig a Wi-Fi hotspot at the location, and if it’s right outside your home this isn’t even an issue, you could use a Wi-Fi camera without a monthly plan and a live video feed for a lot less! I’ve given the cheapest plan a shot, and I’ve had a few false positives thus far. The AI is by no means perfect. A car driving by my storage unit will activate the AI. What your getting here is like getting a phone with a cellular plan attached. And it’s not even a good plan. Get a Wi-Fi camera or an LTE camera that uses your own hotspot or SIM card plan. You’ll be able to see a live feed and have full control over your device. ... show more
