This belt looks authentic, which is hard to pull off. It has a supple feel to it. The metal buckle was well protected from scratches and looks very attractive. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting this belt to be as nice as it is. It fits as expected. The holes are close to the end of the belt so you don’t have a lot of belt hanging sloppily out of your belt loop. This belt is a classic! It gives an old-money, bo-ho chic vibe and is very flattering dressing up or down! There is something timeless about this rich brown cognac leather and gold clasp and a perfect addition to my wardrobe. I ordered a large (pant size 8-10) and it was too big. I simply fixed this by adding a few extra holes. There's not an excessive amount of overlap which makes it fit nicely into belt loops without bulging! I don't think this one is made of leather but it fits well and has a stylish gold buckle. I currently have about a 42 inch waist and it is comfortable. It was easy to put on and will fit in many belt loop sizes. Seems good quality even though I don't think it's leather.
