The media could not be loaded. This is a good-looking leather lounger. There’s no assembly which is a home run in itself, and the leather quality is actually exquisite. It’s simple to open and fold together. It’s especially great for small spaces such as offices, studio apartments, etc. It really looks like a designer piece of furniture. It’s robust, sturdy, and can hold weight well. If needed, it would be suitable as a temporary guest bed. It’s firm but certainly better than an air mattress. I didn’t realize until I opened it that the leather skirt flaps have magnets to help hold them in place, which is another great feature. Folding into itself is so convenient for moving. We bought this mainly as an extra single bed for when the grandchildren come for a visit. We like the way it stores itself as an ottoman when not in use. It seems of solid construction and quality covering. However, the first grandchild to use it said it was not comfortable (she’s 8 years old - and not a complainer), so we had to put some pillows on top(she could feels the ridges through the sheets). We’ll buy a foam topper for future use. We had intended to use it as a reading chair when not in use as a sleeper, but it’s not comfortable for that, either; very little back support in the chair mode. I searched forever to find a small space guest bed solution...looked at various futons/convertible chairs/etc. but this ottoman is amazing—I couldn’t be happier with it so far. It will function as an ottoman most of the time in my bedroom turned dressing room...it’s nice to sit on while I put my shoes on etc. but converts easily + quickly to a bed. No assembly was required. It’s a very well thought out, functional design. Comfort: As is, it would suit someone who enjoys a firm bed just fine. I purchased this ottoman sleeper as a compact guest bed for my studio apartment. There was no assembly required once I got it out of the box. The ottoman is the perfect height to prop my feet up on while sitting on the sofa. I slept on the sleeper for one night, and it was comfortable. My cousin has been sleeping on itand using it as a chaise lounge for a week, and it's been perfect for her. I'm strongly considering buying another one for my place. The color goes well with my furnishings., and the unit seems to be quite solid. The instructions are rather minimal - there is a good deal of cushioning material which needs to be removed after opening up the cardboard box the unit came in. The metal supports have cushioning on them and white tapes which need to be pulled or cut off. To use it as a day bed just for an occasional nap perhaps takes more time and effort than it's worth since I have can as easily go my bedroom, but it would serve very well as a guest bed, and as a chair when a Christmas tree obscures a view of my TV from my usual recliner's position - i.e. beside being an ottoman it can serve other useful functions. ... show more

Not true to the color in the picture. More red and darker. There's a design flaw where the bolts in the corners puncture through the leather flaps on the side. Both shipments arrived with holes in the leather. Otherwise, it's a nice product and very functional for vacation rentals. This fit perfect in an already small and furnished room. I was able to provide a high quality bed that converted back to a chair and ottoman for my guest. While the cushion does provide softness it easily presses down to a hard structure which was a bit uncomfortable for my guest after the second use. Maybe if it was a little thicker it might have helped. However it did the job. They enjoyed using it as a bed and as a chair. ... show more

Much better than messing with any inflatable mattress!!! Highly recommend getting one of these if the size and space it right for your needs. I was stunned at how nice this product actually turned out to be. Set up was so easy right out of the box. arrived completely functional and exactly as depicted on the website. Everything came as is. It's sleek, practical, very functional. I bought to keep tucked away in a corner of a home office so that my older parents could have an alternative sleeping option that wasn't a couch when either was sick or restless and needed a separate room. I've messed with inflatable air mattress options all my life and they are always such a nuisance. Loud to inflate, always deflate through the night, cold air coming up through the night. This worked out so much better. It is on the firm side which is great when it's in ottoman or chair mode. We ordered a topper to keep tucked away within the folds to make set up a breeze. The only critique I have is that the leg the props up the head section is quick to slide inwards and collapse if the whole bed slides up. Just have to remain vigilant that each leg is placed fully outward when finally placed where needed before putting weight on it. ... show more
