I used this charger to maintain batteries on a D5B bulldozer I only run occasionally. It was super simple to plug together and connect, and it works great. I have two large 12 volt batteries connected in series to get 24 volt system, so I got this solar charger with controller for 24 V.

Put this on my trolling motor batteries while boat was on the water. Kept saying charging, but never fully charged in several days. After, I moved it to get full sun it quickly came to charge complete. Was skeptical and when I pulled the boat out of the water and plugged it into shore power....it said fully charged. I'm convinced! Good product, but as instructions indicate keep in full sun for best performance.

The media could not be loaded. Purchased in march, worked fine for a month and a half and then I realized every so often the charge controller was not lit. Turns out the covered connection directly under the panel is the culprit with a loose connection im assuming... If I jiggle it sometimes it will light the controller and start charging. Since I can't know when it is or is not working I'm constantly having to check and jiggle the wire. Almost feels sketchy/hazardous to leave unsupervised.

I used this 50w solar cell to replace my old 2x 10w for my gate opener. My gate gets cycled 10 - 20 times a day and the old panels just couldn't keep the batteries charged. I have been using this panel for about a week now and my voltage has been maintaining about 25.2v even with heavy use and the shorter days. Perfect for maintaining a gate battery bank. The install was easy plug and play.
