This thing is a life saver. I'm using it on my Boat to ensure the battery stays fresh even with my shut off Switch. Takes less than 2 minutes (give or take) to hook up and put in the sun. It even showed charging when in the shade. Indicator lights show operational, Charging and when fully charged. NOTE: This is NOT a replacement for a normal charger. more of a conditioner and if it senses any drain on the battery, will automatically start charging.     • Solid Solar Charger Kit With Reliable Voltage Output — Good for AGM Batteries

I picked up the Voltset 20W Solar Panel Kit mainly to maintain an AGM motorcycle battery through cold winter conditions, and so far it has performed better than I expected. Even at –18°C (–1°F), the panel consistently produced voltage levels close to the manufacturer’s stated 22V open‑circuit rating, which was reassuring. The included MPPT controller seems to be doing its job properly. I monitored the system several times over 30‑minute intervals using a multimeter, and in 5 out of 6 checks, the voltage behavior looked normal. The controller stayed within safe limits for AGM batteries, keeping the float and cutoff ranges right where they should be (float at 13.2–13.8V and cutoff around 14.5–14.8V). My only real complaint is the battery percentage indicator on the controller. It’s not accurate and isn’t something I would rely on for gauging true charge level. Fortunately, the voltage output itself is stable, which matters more for battery health. The panel and bracket feel sturdy, and the whole setup is waterproof as advertised. If the charger holds up after about six months on the motorcycle, I’d definitely consider getting another one for my shed to maintain the lawn mower battery. The Mounting Hardware provided is sufficient for most locations and due to the potential for not requiring a mount can also be fairly portable even though being a little on the heavy side and not very rugged. Overall, a solid little kit with reliable electrical performance—just don’t trust the percentage indicator. Seems to be a reasonable Value for the Money a little steep I would pay 45 for this but that extra 5$ not sure where it goes to. ... show more
