This is a decently nice bike. I am not a kid, but wanted to test it out anyway, I'm 5'4. Their size chart said a 20 inch would fit me, and the answer to that is sort of. I'd probably go up a size anyway but it's technically possible. The color is great, the set-up is easy enough. I would definitely say this makes a great gift for that kid in your life. Or it could be a gift for a short adult, just maybe consider the 24 inch instead. It does indeed come mostly put together, which is nice. It f eels smooth, rides pretty well, and I don't see any issues with a year or two of use. This is a nice BMX bike for the price. Assembly was straightforward, and once put together, it rode smoothly and felt sturdy. The frame and components seem comparable to other bikes in this price range, and the included pegs are a nice bonus for kids interested in learning tricks. The overall appearance is sharp and the bike looks great in person. My only disappointment was a spelling error on one of the large decals—it says "Phsantom" instead of "Phantom," which is also visible in the product photos. Thankfully, it's only cosmetic.
