Get a friend to help. Get an installation kit. Difficult to measure without grid on back...and it rolls up tight on ya, snap! Excellent weight and appearance from both sides. Great results, eventually.

I live in a city where the houses are very close together. I like having my shades open to let natural light in but don’t like people being able to see into my house. These window decals are pretty, easy to install, and make you feel a little bit more secure. They come in various sizes so it wasn’t difficult to figure out which one and how much I needed after measuring my windows! Highly recommend if you too enjoy natural light but also enjoy privacy!

I wanted to have some privacy while looking out onto my backyard from the large bay windows in my bedroom. I have trust issues, so I purchased 2 different brands of privacy film. Volcanics brand is on the left. I applied the other brand on the right first. It was really tricky because it is very flimsy and has a very sticky back. Think giant, extra-sticky Saran wrap. It literally took over an hour, because it was very difficult to line up and apply, as it kept sticking to itself or the window prematurely...even after finally having someone try to help by holding one end. Then I went to apply the Volcanics and braced myself. Long story short, it took literally 10 minutes total once cut to size. What I love about the Volcanics when compared with the other brand is that it is much thicker and very sturdy. Not flimsy at all. So I didn't need someone else to hold the other end. Also, it doesn't have that sticky back that would keep sticking prematurely. All you have to do is spray water on the window and apply. Because it's not sticky, you can easily slide it around on the pane until it lines up perfectly. Notice there is some overlapping on both, but it's hardly noticeable on the Volcanics on the left. Another plus is that Volcanics is not dark at all. The other one is way too dark. Both brands do provide great privacy because all you see is your reflection from outside. However, the other brand looks like cheap cellophane, while Volcanics is hardly noticeable. I am very pleased. So I ordered some more Volcanics and will remove and replace the brand on the right.

Easy to install, made a huge difference inside my house I tested. The sun was directly on my patio door it was 120° w/o tint w/ tint 110°, and it was close to 100° F that day.

This is absolutely beautiful once you get it up. It was easy to get the backing off of it keeping place and easy to trim and once the light hits it. Oh my gosh it’s like a rain of color and yet you still have privacy. This is a very very pretty pattern. Can’t wait to order more.
