Okay, so I took my time on this review because I wanted to give it enough days for my rug to return to its natural shape (it comes vacuum sealed) and I think it’s pretty much there now. It’s very thin, even after shaping back, it’s a thin rug so I wouldn’t suggest purchasing it if you are looking to put it on hardwood floors like I did. It IS soft and feels great on the feet, it’s just not as thick as it looks in the photo. The display photos are extremely misleading. Now, if you put the rug on top of carpet, I think it’ll be okay. The color is great and it looks visually appealing in front of my bed, it’s just not thick. Also, it DOES slide around on the floor, which the description claims that it would not. It DOES. So I have to put my bed corners on top of it, to prevent that. ... show more

I LOVE how soft this is. I got it for beside my bed. I take my shoes off in the bedroom and like how it feels on my bare feet but beware, don't turn to fast because you will slide in bare feet or socks. I have it on top of carpet so there is no sliding. It is thin, with rubber texture backing so it won't slide on hard floors either. It's not stiff at all, more like a blanket with slipper-sock material on one side. That was the biggest surprise. You could even use it as a stadium blanket. I'm not docking stars for the surprise because I really like it and think it could be used for more than just a rug. ... show more
