I own a few different levels, as shown in the attached photo, but none that have bubbles that help you measure angles other than 0 and 90 degrees. This 16” length is ideal for a variety of jobs and it seems reasonably well made. Testing it on a good, flat surface, it agreed with my other levels, as shown in the second photo. The only thing it is missing, as far as I am concerned, is a built-in laser that lets you extend the measurement indefinitely, something I have found useful on several occasions. The yellow level in the photo does have that feature but I can accomplish the same thing with the angle-measuring tool also shown in the photos since it has its own laser. I was confused at first by the 2-degree bubble next to the 180-degree bubble; I am not sure why someone would want that although it might help you pin down whether a surface is out of level by more or less than 2 degrees. Also, it seems like one might want to label these bubbles as 2 and 0 rather than 2 and 180 but this is not a major concern. The only other concern I noticed is that the 2 and 180-degree bubble vials are exposed and more susceptible to damage than on my two Craftsman levels which protect the glass vials but include slots in the surface of the level so you can still view them from above. The curvature of the 2 and 180-degree vials on this VNW is distinctive and might add to their sensitivity but probably not enough to matter.

I'm quite impressed with the versatility of this 16" level. The construction seems sturdy, and the spirit vials all have a protective covering. The unit has 5 spirit vials: 1) The usual lengthwise horizontal level 2) 90° vertical level...the mirrored sight in the top edge is a nice feature! 3) 45° slope 4) 22.5° slope 6) 2° slope (for small drain pipes) The addition of a 2° slope gauge is very nice! It is the proper slope for small drain pipes (1-1/4" to 2" pipes), which equates to 1/4" drop per foot. I wish I'd had this for my sump pump project several years ago! The mirrored sight for the 90° vial is very handy too. You can easily see the bubble in the vial from edge-on when holding the level up to a stud or door frame (for example) by looking into the mirrored window. Another nice touch is the carrying case/sleeve that comes with it. For the price I think it's a great level.

I like that it has a metal part that has been machined to be flat so it aids at being completely flat on any surface its on. I also like that its not too long but also its not short and I think that this length its perfect for everyday jobs. There are a lot of bubble options but I'm mostly concerned with both 90 degrees direction and sometimes the 45 degrees one. I really don't care much for the 2 and 22.5 degrees one although It is never too much to have other options and at least if I where ever going to need them, I have them. The construction seems very solid and the materials look to be of good quality. I like that it come with an included case and it is very nice. It has a flap up top and closes with hook and loop system which is very secure and it wont let the level come out unless I want it to. Also the strap on the back is nice too, and the case protects it if it where ever to fall or to hit something.

I've got longer level and I've got some really short ones, but this is a good in-between size. It's small enough to be easy to use but big enough to handle most homeowner-type projects. The bubbles are all visible and having all the options is useful. It'd be great for marking diagonals for hanging pictures. I don't find the case useful, but it's there if someone wants it. I did check all the bubbles against a digital level I have and they all matched exactly.

I like this level. It's longer than my others .. long enough to make sure adjacent pictures and wall hangings line up, without being too long to be unwieldy. It comes with a nice protective sleeve too. Well built out of aluminum. I don't really understand the use for the 2 and 22.5 degree vials. 2 degrees is kind of around the specifications for minimum low roof pitch and minimum drain pipe angle but I don't know (in my DIY level knowledge) of any building code specs that call for 2 degrees. Regardless, you could use it to make sure your gutters drain or whatever. It's a nice and well built level. Recommended.

This level is very unique and well made. It is unique because it seems to be made primarily to check off-plumb angles instead of plumb. It works for normal level checking, but that feature seems almost secondary. The 2 and 180 degree bubbles are most prominent and then the 22.5 and 45 degree bubbles next most prominent. The faces and both edges seem to be perfectly flat though of course I haven’t checked them with any kind of sophisticated machinery. I have 4 or 5 conventional levels so this one makes a great addition to my tool box.

This is a very nice 16" level. It is well constructed and comes with a nylon bag to help protect it. It is very versatile having so many level bubbles at different angles....including a 22.5 bubble and a 2 degree bubble. I also like that the 90 degree bubble has a side/periscope style view window. This is a sturdy, well designed level. Highly recommended.

This level is super nice and comes with a case! It's a good size for accurate measures but easy to carry around and to store. It has five different bubbles and a window on one to see it on the narrow side.
