I use these for 3d printing. I make the sockets 6.2mm x 1.67mm to fit these 6x2 magnets properly. Maybe 6.1mm if you want to force the fit, but I had to ream the holes a little bit to make that work. A little dab of superglue in the bottom and they stick quite well.
