Used these to mount my Starlink dish to my steel roof. Keep the water tight integrity of my roof and hold the Dishy down. Did have to buy some 3/4 inch 14-20 screws as the ones these come with aren’t quite long enough but thats not the manufacturers issue- in fact its a good thing because they used a nice standardised size so you can get the longer ones from about any hardware store and still use the washer and lock washer they send with this kit. we have a steel beam in our garage and have steel doors for the attached mud room. Rather than drill holes in the beam or door - purchased these magnets to hang items from. I used 3m hooks, but i was replacing them every few months. The screw and bolt on these magnets allows me to connect a wire between them for heavier objects. I only had them a few weeks - but they are versatile and strong and far exceed my expectations when i initially purchased them. I highly recommend them and plan to buy more! ... show more

With these 150lb Neodymium Magnets, I finally have all the components to put together this mount for my action camera. These magnets are super strong as described, I'm sure they would hold my DSLR but that will never happen, that's why I got the action camera. Just my 100-300mm lens cost more than the action cam. I will most likely buy more of these magnets in the future. ... show more

I use 3 of these in a triangle set-up to hold my DSLR to the hood of my car for travel videos. I have each of them screw into a cheese-plate grid where my tripod head is on and it holds like super glue in a Venus fly trap inside the White House bunker. I really don't need safety straps but I do anyways cause I can't afford a new camera. A Go-Pro will just need 1 but since my camera has weight distribution from the lens, I'd rather be super safe than super in trouble with someone else's insurance company.
