Boy, when they said "super strong", they weren't kidding. I bought these to make some custom mounts for my Google Nest cameras so I could attach them along with larger IR illuminators to my metal barn. Yes, the Nest cameras stick to metal, but I needed to achieve an angle of view that the camera and its mount found difficult. The magnets are beasts and hold well to the building. I bought this to mount a Blink Security Camera in the Weatherproof housing. The threads are the same and all I did was to cut down the threads on the magnet. I wanted it so I could remove it after I hitch up my utility trailer with a quad and generators on it. But I think the magnet is so strong that it wouldn’t fall off, it might slide around a bit on ruff roads. And with the camera being wireless I could move it around within the WiFi range.

My old license plate literally decomposed. The numbers/letters were falling off. Unfortunately the screws holding it on had totally rusted and become one with the car. I drilled the heads off and then used these to hold the plate on. Worked perfectly until I could get the screw bodies removed. Very strong magnets.
