I used them to mount a machete to the wall, and the work great! The magnets are so strong that if you don't have them mounted to something solid, it's really hard to remove them from the blade. I totally recommend getting them if you want to mount something in such a way that it will never move.

Got a few packs to hang my metal posters. I was doubtful, but dear lord! Don’t have to worry about them falling, that’s for sure and I love that you screw them into the wall. Only downside was they were really hard to get apart. I have eight that I can’t use at the moment. Someone mentioned they were supposed to come with spacers to make it easier, but mine didn’t. Regardless, I would buy again if I’m ever in the need for more. ... show more

Used them for keeping my sun visor up out of line of sight. I had to offset them so they wouldn't grip so strong! If I completely lined them up, I would probably rip my headliner getting them disconnected! I thought it said 10 pounds but it's 100 lbs. They are for a set of modular work tables designed by Bob on "I like to make stuff". They were well packed, and are the correct size for what Bob recommended. I bought them to hang some metal signs we were gifted that had no hangers on the back. When testing if the magnet would hold them up the two items were so strongly attracted that it pinched my fingertip and drew blood. I easily believe the magnet will hold as much as it says.
