It might seem a bit pricey at first, but this regulator is absolutely worth it — much more convenient compared to a standard one: 1. No special wrench needed — easy to tighten and install by hand. 2. Safety feature — if you forget to close the tank valve but the regulator is set to OFF, no gas will come out. 3. Compact size — much smaller than regular regulators, making it easier to transport when you have lots of other equipment. 4. Durable gauge — clearly shows the remaining gas and is hard to break during transport. 5. Purge mode available — perfect for welding when you need quick and accurate purging. Highly recommend it! Comparatively this is an affordable unit. How ever mine is exactly accurate, but for my needs it's close enough. Using to purge lines to braze. It does what I need and didn't cost an arm or a leg. It's brass so it didn't leak, and the pressure was fine although a little off on the gauge. It fit my tank well and is pretty solidly built. ... show more

    • Bad preset pressures on the gauge.
On the exterior looks good but the preset pressures on the gauge were wrong, specially the test preset pressure did not raised the pressure in the system pass 0 psi. Apparently, the preset pressure on the gauge was set to low. Probably bad quality control at the factory. I return the gauges after the first time use. Waste of time and money. ... show more

Easy to use. Settings for braze, purge ,test are set correctly. Have used it 8 times so far and all is good. Size is small and takes up less room than a traditional nitrogen gauge.
