Features

  • Plasma Surface Treatment: Heavy duty stainless steel construction, with plasma surface treatment for the surface of stainless steel, Ideal for high temperature environments
  • Four Burners: The 28.7inch gas welding kit has four burners distributed in equal proportions, so the heat is evenly distributed inside the forge, which is more suitable for heating long rods
  • Premium Refractory Materials: The forge uses a ceramic fiber insulation blanket with a thermal conductivity (1000C) of 0.18w/mk, which is more heat-insulating and has a maximum temperature resistance of 2600F
  • Tips: Please open a door during long-term high-temperature heating to avoid excessive internal temperature and reduced oxygen content; After heating, please disconnect the hoses or burners to prevent residual heat in the hose from melting it
  • Tips: Keep one door open during extended high-temperature use to prevent overheating and maintain airflow. After use, disconnect the hose or burner to avoid heat damage from residual heat hose or burner to avoid heat damage from residual heat.

  • Great option for price and value
Size: 2 Burner
Loving this forge! Works really well. Especially considering price. For just starting out, its worth it.

  • Great starter forge!
Size: 2 Burner
Easy to assemble and heats up steel very quickly! You have to apply some rigidizer and refractory to the ceramic insulation but after that this thing will perform great! I got this 3 days ago and already have made 12 knives! Love it!

  • Beginner Forge
Size: 2 Burner
Fairly simple and straightforward setup, and at a good price to decide if the hobby is something you want to get into or not before spending more money. Pretty well built and it definitely works pretty well.

  • Fantastic sword forge
Size: 4 Burner
Blacksmith of 10 years here. This is a great sword forge but it’s a little big for anything smaller than that. Been running it hot and it has held up perfectly fine. Make sure to remove the burners after use and hang them somewhere safe (usually on my forge stand support beam) to prevent heat creep messing with the burners. Take care of your tools and they’ll take care of you. Not a bad price either ... show more

  • Great Value, good performance. Very Pleased.
Size: 1 Burner
Great Value. Order extra refractory and kaowool fixer, it will flake off in use.

  • Great forge for the price.
Size: 2 Burner
The media could not be loaded. No complaints. Great for the price. Only thing I can say negatively is it should come with a warning to let you know the insulation has to be coated before using. The insulation can mess up your lungs if it’s not coated. Plus, as the name implies, it makes the insulation more ridged I used a rigidizer from Simwool. It’s simple to assemble and easy to use. For the money, it’s hard to beat. ... show more

  • "It's a good product, but it has its flaws."
Size: 1 Burner
This propane gas forge has both advantages and disadvantages, and I’d like to share them with you. Advantages: 1. It has doors that allow you to keep the furnace closed, thus rapidly increasing the temperature inside. 2. It is very light, which makes it easy to transport without getting tired. 3. It is small, allowing you to use it in confined spaces. (Avoid using it in enclosed spaces). Disadvantages: 1. Being very small, you cannot heat large metals. (If you want to temper large knives, you won’t be able to do it in this forge). 2. The forge is designed to work with small metals. (If you want to use this forge to temper knives, I would recommend small knives, such as Pettys or blade blanks. Also, knives with only a tang). 3. Keeping both furnace doors open results in significant heat loss, so I would only recommend having one door open. For blacksmithing and tempering knives of 12-15 inches, I would recommend a two-burner furnace. It’s a forge that, for the price, is almost not worth it. I prefer to spend a few more dollars on a two-burner forge rather than waste my money again on this gas forge. ... show more
